If Howard goes to HOU, we can grab Omer Asik for Bosh

That would be a perfect trade for both teams (obviously make the salaries work).

Howard would love to have a stretch 4 like Bosh who stays out of the paint and won't clog the lane for him.

and the Heat would become unstoppable with a guy like Omer Asik. Legit 7 footer who can rebound, play interior defense.......and finish around the rim.

I really hope this happens. Indiana is going to improve and they took us to 7 with Hibbert abusing us. It was no different with the Spurs, who did the same thing Indiana did. Drive to the rim and throw up shots, since we have no rim protection, and no rebounding. So throw up shots --> hopefully easy put back by Hibbert/Duncan. Teams see this. Popovich copied Indiana .....

We have to improve and Bosh is simply a waste of 19 million next season.

I'm not trading Bosh for Asik straight up. And we have a thread for this.

Asik has terrible hands, cannot finish around the rim consistently, and can't shoot FTs worth a damn. It would be great to have him, but not for bosh.

1) We can't keep the big 3 together without Micky Arison paying out of his ass in taxes. That's simply the facts and it's a question that the Heat have to deal with next season and the year after that.

2) Wade is untouchable. I would let LeBron walk back to CLE before I trade Wade. He retires in a Heat uni.

3) So that leaves Bosh. The "big man" who can't rebound, gets abused by bigs, can't defend the post, can't post-up or play with his back to the basket....... and can't score down low very well as he gets blocked a lot.

We have to do it. I LOVE Bosh, I do, and I was a huge supporter of his in the Amare vs Bosh talks. But this has to happen. Bosh making 19 mil next year... going 0 points in a game 7... his game is just not a good fit for us. Point blank.

The Heat would be a much more dominant team with an Asik or a Noah, and you know that. Doing this trade, would solve our tax paying issues, and make us a better team.

We also need more floor spacers for Lebron, so I think we should trade Wade for Jose Calderon (obviously make the salaries work). Then we can field a great Chalmers/Calderon/Lebron/Haslem/Asik lineup. TITLE.

Ya'll act like kids getting so emotional to Bosh. He isn't LBJ, and he isn't Wade. Ya'll won't be happy til we get eliminated in a playoffs, which almost happened in Game 6 with 28 seconds left, we needed a miracle. We got taken to 7 by Indiana, who is going to improve next year and we have to go through Hibbert dominating Bosh all over again.

You know his flaws and that we would be a better team with a Noah or an Asik instead of him.

valid points U made..BUT still curious:

Didn't we consider this when we signed all three? - Is it remotely possible to adjust how we use him so he could be more effective.....BUT Here's the sh@t - anyone we bring in in his spot will play the same way due to our style of play...fact is, we will just getting cheaper BOSH.....if that's what's asking for, then I hear yoiu, don't agree, but I hear you.

I think people are basing BOSH's value on his finals performance.....again, we signed a player for his skill set, but did not/has not allowed him to maximize said skill set.

IF WE TRADE BOSH, it is what it is...just doesn't get my vote....I'll accept whatever the front office does......

but we can't get either plus, I don't believe either would be able to play the same way HERE as they do on their current teams.........

I dont see the need to trade bosh, but bosh for parsons and asik is certainly one of the packages i would think riley would consider if he decided to shop him.

The real issue is with our system, no big in the NBA is a better outside shooter than bosh while still being able to hold their own defending other 5's.

In riley we trust.

Bosh is worth a lot more than that. We better be getting Parsons or Beverely in that deal too.

Overreaction threads as usual.

Pull your panties back up. Bosh isn't going anywhere, not many bigs in this league can make up for the things Miami loses without Bosh.

That would be such a perfect trade for us, and I think HOU too if they get Howard.

Ahh, we would definitely not have to worry about teams with size anymore.

Guy averages close to a double-double in the Finals, kinda like last year, and we're here shopping him for Asik.....awesome.
