Remember the Bulls and Pacers series where the Heat were accused of being dirty ? Of starting **** ? Of provoking and so on ?

For people with even a smidgeon of commons sense, the Spurs series should have proven that the Heat were only responding to dirty play from the Bulls/Pacers. Since Bowen retired, Spurs dropped a lot in the all dirty rankings.

A 7 game series without a tech ?
And no dirty stuff, no jawing, no hating, just respect.

Only who doesn't have eyes to see can't see that the Pacers and Bulls are 2 of the dirtiest teams in the league, and the Heat were only answering after being provoked.

I've played with a lot players who don't know how to play overly physical basketball. When they were being guarded by players who were physical, they often got frustrated and ended up making very silly non-basketball(dirty) plays because they felt that's what was being done to them. I didn't blame the players, because they weren't trying to hurt anyone or be dicks, just doing to other opposition what they thought was being done to them. At the end the players who were more finesse actually made the dirtiest plays, because they don't know how to play physical without being dirty. That actually takes work and practice. Most of your great defenders like Gary or Tony Allen walk a fine line between dirty and physical to be great defenders.

If you say we never made a dirty play, it would be an absolute lie. But the Bulls wanted to make that series physical, and have only themselves for dragging the series into the mud. Funny part to me is it actually benefited them, even if they won't admit it. If we played it like the SAS series, it would of been a blow out every game and a sweep.
