I'm hearing Mo Williams is considering taking less to join a contender such as the Spurs or Heat. Nothing imminent, but he's considering it.

The main target its a big man..if we cant get one would be cool to get mo. What do you think ?

We don't really need him, If he comes he takes Cole minutes and prevents him from improving...

No thanks. Reserve that last slot for a big (even if it has to come by way of a trade deadline pickup), not a small guard who's already griping about PT.

I'd take him only if we can add another big. Mo is only 30 and in the 2 seasons he has played with Lebron he has shot 43.6 and 42,9 % from down town on over five 3 point attempts per game during those seasons.

He's an underrated player. If the price is right and he won't complain about inconsistent minutes, I'd take him. I doubt that'll be the case though.

Would be a nice pickup for next season, when Mario is gone

People are forgetting we have 2 roster spots open. If you would take Varnado over Mo, especially if we keep Joel, you need your eyes checked.

He can't shoot in the playoffs though. Dude is a choke artist of the highest order. There's no way I'd want him in a big game instead of Rio or Cole.

Also he can't defend anything, anywhere, ever. If we wanted to sign a PG, I'd rather get another quick defensive stopper type like Norris.

now that miller is gone, we could use all the shooters we can get. i would worry about him complaining about PT tho...our guard rotation is pretty set

For Cleveland he was the 2nd option and was facing top defenders. RIo and Cole are afterthought role players who face no coverage. Mo would thrive in that situation.

Also Mo is a poor defender, but people overrate Rio and Cole's defense (and their worth as a whole). Neither of them could cover Rondo last season or Parker this year. They got destroyed by them and it forced Lebron to cover Parker. Mo is a better PG than Rio and Cole.

Mo Williams had to be LeBron's right hand man and he disappeared in those times, but LeBron didn't play well either and look at him now.

Mo Williams also gave LeBron the cold shoulder when he went to Miami, lol. It'd be funny if he suddenly wants to join us. LeBron might reach out to him, who knows.

But I wish we could get some rebounders/defenders, our defense has been weakening every year it seems...
