I like that Lakers matchup on Christmas day. The game where Flash utterly ravaged Kobe Bryant was classic. I remember Shaq was laughing his ass off on the bench after one of the many blocks. Here's the box score: http://ca.sports.yahoo.com/nba/boxscore ... 2006122514

Ronny Turiaf had more FG's than Kobe in half the minutes

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm also hoping Greg Oden will be healthy for his return to Portland. Hell probably get jeered. Their hostility towards LeBron a few years ago was comparable to Cleveland's for whatever reason..

The way I see it, since we only got two road games against the Cavs, 76ers and one road game against the Celtics and the Bucks is actually good.

The rest:

Indiana, Knicks, Chicago, hmm...Detroit? Brooklyn are going to be our walls to breakthrough.

Hawks, Bobcats, Magic, Raptors & Wizards are going to be smothered.

If I were to see we were going to lose shockingly to any of those teams, it'd be Wizards, Cavs and Pistons.

I don't mind playing the Lakers on Christmas day, it's a tradition now. But scheduling the game in LA is just disrespectful to the defending champs, then again, maybe the league thought they were giving the Heat a Christmas gift by sacrificing the Lakers at 5pm EST for the whole country to see. That game could be ugly.

Yeah...just tradition and will still bring in the ratings. Don't expect it to be much of a competitive game though...but stranger things have happened.

Portland has a top 5 fan-base in the NBA. Oregon is a great state for basketball... definitely see the passion behind their fans. They're not going to warm up to Lebron.

Maybe one day they will in Indiana though

“It sucks. It was 70 (Lakers fans) – 30 (Pacers fans) out there. These are the same people that wants autographs after the game. We’re out there in the community. We’re doing our job, doing what we’re supposed to do on and off the court. Something has to change. I tip my hat to this team. We’ve been trouble free. Been out in the community shaking hands, we’re winning. It shouldn’t feel like an away game, especially with an important like this. Tonight, that’s what it felt like.”

P.S if you factor in Atlanta and Charlotte, Miami is on tap for 45 home games this year

Nets 2nd away game should be interesting but they will need time to play together I imagine.

I don't care what the schedule is...time to put the Bulls back in their place.
Their board keeps saying they will beat us this year and that the years we got them they were not 100%...

Time to crush those arrogant effers on opening night.

You're welcome LeBron.

Tyler Herro is a TURD.
Bam is NOT elite but is getting better.
Fire Spoelstra!
Josh Heupel is coming for you.

Do you mean that one? ;)

Also, I hear a good amount of cheers for LeBron and I would be pissed too if another team's player nailed two big threes on my team's court in a tight game and then celebrated it. That's no hostility, that's just passionate fans.

Teams with more nationally televised games than Miami:

Knicks (lol. Enough said)
Bulls (I guess the NBA knows the regular season champs will come out blazin' and give it all)
Thunder (Ehhhh LeBron and the Heat's ***)
Clippers (Kinda understandable but still, meh)
Lakers (LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO)

Seems legit

I honestly think we are being disrespected, the sixth most national televised games,on the road for thanksgiving & Christmas they treating the heat like a 3rd class organization. How does the boring bulls have all of those TV games?

Return to Miami Heat
