Why is Dampier above Cook and Cole? Both played here longer and were/are better liked.

Yup. I see no reason for dampier, who was basically nothing to us in 2010.. I believe cole did much more for us and played a bigger role than dampier did..

When you're creating a list of top players in franchise history and you have to include Erika Dampier, you might want to shrink that list down

Norris cole at that number is pure nonsense. Also, Causwell over Dampier any day.

Top 100, have we had that many players play a full season? I do not know. Cole should not be any where near the current ranking. To be ranked there needs to be a minimum amount of games, mins or seasons played. I would start with Top 50.

Yeah, Dampier over Cole is a little ridiculous.
I think they are taking a players name and history before/after playing with the heat into consideration for this top 100 list, because there is no way Dampier would ene be a top 100 on any Heat list.

I believe OP got that list from here:
http://www.hothothoops.com/2013/6/29/44 ... -countdownIt looks like it's all done by this guy:
http://www.sbnation.com/users/Kevin%20Kraczkowski And as you can see, he's listing all the 199 players who have played for the Heat.
Here are his comments on how he put them in order:
I considered doing a PER x Minutes played, but ultimately settled on win shares, with the assistance of
http://www.basketball-reference.com. I added their regular season and postseason win shares together and put together the list, 1-199. Here in the lower echelons, there may appear to be some disparities in time played and what not, but these iniquities will level out as I get up and into the top 100.
