What are some of your ideas for this mode? Will you play with Miami in association mode and what moves will you make?

For me, I hope it's all the way from his very first NBA game to current/future. One major part is the decision to choose to stay in Cleveland or go to Miami, Chicago, New Jersey, Néw York, or sign and trade to Dallas or another team over the cap. I would like to see him grow from a scrawny 18 year old kid to the man he is today. It should be the users job to develop LeBron's skill to a whole new level but if you don't want him to develop he turns into a role player or a low minute player. I hope to see his physique and hairline change overtime but if Euroleague was in this mode and you can't get him onto a training camp invite or a decent deal then sign overseas.

For association, the first thing I'm going to do is trade Joel Anthony for a 2nd round pick(hopefully protection of draft picks is in). Then I would sign choices of Rip Hamilton, Dahntay Jones, Lamar Odom, Tyrus Thomas, etc. I won't make any trades that affects the team. What trades/signings will you make?

i dont see how this is any different than any other create a player modes except maybe u have more potential points to play with since we know his ratings should be off the charts.

I bet if 2k spent more time on the depth of association, it would be the most played mode in the game. 2K needs to have the depth of Madden 25, FIFA, and NHL. It wouldn't surprise me if NBA Live 14 beats them in this section. I just hope it's way different than My Player with more depth. I can't wait for info to release on PS4, after I saw LeBron on next gen that was it. I don't understand how it's the most played game in the mode but its the same every year with the same depth, I was hoping Euroleague was included in it. Nobody knows what modes next gen has but we'll see.

It would be like Jordan mode in 2k11, play 8-10 games or so with special objectives:

1. First game against Sacramento ( 2003 ) : 25 points 5+ assists and rebounds with 4 steals and 50+ fg%
2. Score 40+ points and win the game against Nets, youngest player to score 40+ ponts ( 2004 ) ( 19 years, 88 days )
3. Record a triple double amd win the game against Portland ( 2005 ), youngest player to achive a triple double ( 20 years, 20 days ).
4. Score 55+ points and win the game against Raptors, career high ( 2005 )
5. Score at least 29 of the teams 30 points against Detroit and win the game in postseason ( 2007 )
6. Score at least 49 points on 65+ fg% vs the Magic in postseason ( 2009 )
7. Average at least 40, 18 and 9 and win against Indiana in postseason ( 2012 )
8. Make at least 12 FG in a row and win the game facing elimination against Boston in postseason ( 2012 )
9. Win gama 4 of the NBA Finals while facing leg cramps in the 4th quarter agaisnt OKC ( 2012 )
10.. Win game 7 in the NBA finals against the Spurs ( 2013 )

Would be nice to play 2003-2013 lebron facing 10 different opponents and players like: Chris Webber, Vlade Divac, Jason Kidd, Chris Bosh, Rasheed Wallace, Dwight Howard, Paul George, Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, Rajon Rondo, Kevin Durant, Tony Parker or Tim Duncan.

That whole article is just speculation they know about the same as we do, nothing. I agree with koko88, that it might be similar to what they did for Jordan a couple years back. That would be fun to try and do what he did in Game 6 against Boston 2 years ago. I'll prob just stick to my franchise mode.

Although nothing has been officially announced, judging from rumors going around, you will NOT be playing any of LeBron's past games. According to this French article, you'll be playing the next 7 year's of James' career. We'll see soon enough.

Seems just like playing in franchise mode except you can only be LeBron. It would be hilarious though if each year the headband goes further back, I'd die.

wtf is this?

drakos the best defender in the history of the nba ?
paul howard lebron knicks?
allen iverson comeback?

even my above idea is a better idea, and it took me 15 minutes to write it.

saw some videos on it. It's opposite of the Jordan mode from previous years. Instead of playing past games, you are given the choice of staying with miami or leaving miami. If you choose to leave miami 2K has already made preset situations. I know the situations are he plays in NY with Dwight and Chris Paul "the big apple big 3" and the other one is going back to cleveland to play for the cavs. It's pretty interesting but too bad you don't have more control over the situations.

This seems stupid. I'd rather have moments from LeBron's career so far that you have to complete just like the Jordan challenges in 2K11.

So they're saying Allen Iverson returns at age 38 and takes this year's Sixers to the conference finals in 2014? What were these guys smoking?

Agreed, that would be by far the best option.
