Whether you like Wojnarowski or not, the one thing that can be said about him is he's a journalist's journalist. He never comes out with any sourced-based story unless he feels there's some journalistic merit to it, backed from sources he views as reliable.

He once mentioned, on Le Batard's radio show, that he won't run with a story unless he has two independent sources that can confirm the information he's gathered.

Doesn't mean the 'Heat considering Beasley' story ultimately winds up having legs, but someone within the circle of trust fed Woj that info, which he then confirmed elsewhere, or he wouldn't have gone to print with it.
