Just wanted to stick my head in and say hi to some of the old crew who used to help make my days in the office fly by and who's love of the Heat was most helpful in getting through some of the bleak years that weren't that long ago.

I caught up with John Givony (used to be on here a fair bit) when he was in Australia last week and it got me thinking about this community and how much fun I used to have on here so thought I would drop by and see if any of you old buggars are still around.

Good to see the mods are still the same and there's lots of activity on here still. The past couple of years have been pretty damn special for us Heat fans.

Way back in the day we tried to get a RealGM playoff basketball get together. We were the only ones to show up. Real nice guy.

The one Chad Ford started before ESPN hired him for that inside thing I never paid for. Paying for that, I reckoned, was like paying for porn.

Jon G's name WAS CheezDoodle (dang Gator!), then he changed it to "Jonathan Givony" when he was promoting his Draft site. I also remember the failed DraftCity with Prerak... some beef between an agent and something that Cheez reported for the site. Then Jon gave birth to DraftExpress which is the best NBA draft site out there.

BBallFreak, I do remember that RealGM meeting at the bar... I couldn't make it because of a final!
Also, weren't you an Ohio State guy when my Canes played them back in 2003 for the championship?
