we won 2 titles, under this 2 - 3 - 2 format. is it really good to change it?

honestly I think the NBA did it to enhance the likeliness of a game 7. Haha are we starting to call this the Miami heat rule since the heat are one of the few teams to win all 3 games (3-4-5) at home?

Don't care what anyone says... Having both Games 3 and 5 (most crucial games in the Finals IMO) awarded to the team without HCA never made any sense to me.

.. we've actually won 3 under that format.

That just means we won three titles the hard way.

I liked the 2-3-2. It meant the team from the tougher conference wasn't unfairly penalized. Oh well.

Not sure how to feel since the 2-3-2 has been good to us, except for 2011 (though still had a chance with 2 home games back to back). Then with having 3 straight against OKC in our house, the motivation to not go back to OKC was there.

Meh, we'll see what happens.

Who cares...

You should be able to beat anyone anywhere. Just go do your job and win.

We've won 3 championships under this format. 2 of them without HCA.

You can make the argument for either team that 2-3-2 is bad.

Home team: Have to endure 3 straight road games against the best team in the other conference, likely to go back home down and have to win two straight.

Away: You play four road games, including six and seven if it's a close series and it's HIGHLY unlikely you win 3 straight at home anyway.
