Any update on when Greg Oden will play?

Things have gone very quiet on that front.. Guessing they are bringing him along slowly?

Spo said in a recent interview that he's still not there in terms of goals they have for him conditioning-wise, as well as core strength and hip strength. But that he remains ahead of schedule. So who knows? I'd guess any time between mid-December and mid-January but that's just a guess. It seems to me that if Miami needed him to play a game for 5-10 minutes tomorrow he could (Spo has basically said as much), but they want him in the shape they think is necessary for him to play regularly and stay healthy.

We still have time, they're not going to rush anything. Ira said he thinks we'll see around Christmas which makes sense, gives him enough time to get in good shape and also leaves enough time and games to get into NBA rhythm.

My money is on January too.
