Not sure if we'll go all out to get this win. We're on a back2back, they're rested and hyped, I can see us taking it easy if we fall behind. If Lebron sits..could get ugly.

Honestly more excited about Oden/Bynum/Guaranteed Contracts date right now.

But **** it, let's getit.

The media will put a lot of stock into this game, we most likely won't. Judging from the way LeBron was limping at the end of the game last night, he should just sit. If he doesn't want to do it voluntarily, Spoelstra should force him to. The guy is getting pushed too hard, we can't afford for his body to fail, which could happen, even to him.

Ethan J. Skolnick We will get more info on LeBron's status around 8:30 Eastern. Heard from several people that he was hobbling off plane. So iffy at best.

I hope Lebron sits and Wade goes off for 30+ to shut some people up.

I hope LeBron sits. Groin can be a nagging injury. We can hold up without him for a bit, even if it means a loss tonight.

I don't want LeBron to play.

This season he had had a lot of minor injuries... he needs to rest man.

Btw, how come Bosh doesn't play a lot of minutes? Spo always wants to keep him at like 28 minutes (regular time), wtf?

Let Wade,Bosh,Beas, whomever carry come load. I don't even care if we lose like 4 in a row, LEBRON NEEDS TO BE HEALTHY.

We lost this game anyway, now people will say we can't compete in the West despite winning 18 straight or whatever over the West...

from ask ira

Q: I told you earlier that LeBron James can't continue to carry everyone. The guy does get tired sooner or later. -- Dee.

A: Which is why this team has the type of depth that normally can alleviate some of the burden. That wasn't the case Friday night in Sacramento, with Dwyane Wade, Ray Allen and Chris Andersen held out. I also think it's why this time LeBron might not try to push through his groin injury in Portland and instead might take his first game off this season. And he deserves that right. He made clear in the locker room following the loss to the Kings that he could not move well, limping his way to the showers. In fact, if LeBron doesn't hold himself out, then coach Erik Spoelstra should give LeBron the night off for good behavior. This team is at its best when James, Wade and Chris Bosh are on the court together. Everything else is just about buying time until the playoffs.

If LeBron is limping his way to the showers, no **** way he plays. It's not worth it.

Portland will be in our house later, so it's whatever. Not like this is an Eastern rival. I mean it would have been a great game, but just not worth it right now.

Fatboy tweeted that its a close call tonight with LeBron to play or not. wth man. LEBRON NEEDS TO BE HEALTHY FOR THE PLAYOFFS. We have no chance at a 3 peat if he isn't.

Edit: can someone tell me how to embed tweets?

True. And really, Wade/Bosh/Allen/Beas can handle this.
Wade and Allen are rested. The team just has to play hard on defense, especially defending the 3 point line.
Our bench is much better as well.

The only problem I see is, who will guard Aldrige? Battier can't guard him at all and if Bosh does, who will guard Lopez?
Mayber the better starting 5 would be Beas at 4 and Bosh at 5, tbh.
