Can Kurt Thomas help the Heat?

So at age 41, Kurt Thomas is interested in signing with a championship caliber team. The Heat has a pretty good chance of 3-peat. Can he help the Heat? He can't be worst than Greg Oden, right? I mean, he still can defend at the low post. He is a better post defender than Haslem. 10-day contract?

Do you want to break Greg's confidence ? I mean Bynum ok because the guy can ball but Kurt - 41, really ?
Our defensive scheme is very demanding for a big, he is washed

No thanks...... He can go to Chicago or something. It's always funny how these people "retire" and wants to comeback midseason to skip everything and cash in. lol

I like Kurt Thomas. He's a pro's pro, and a hardworking guy. If we had a vacant roster spot I wouldnt be opposed to him sitting at the end of the bench playing the Juwan Howard role but we just dont have the space.

Nope. Wish he would have played his entire career with the Heat but come on...41 years old? If the Heat have money to throw away then give me a contract. I can sit at the end of the bench and the money will do a lot more good with me

Have people already forgotten what it was like to have old corpses play at C for us? Hint: It doesn't end well.

Thomas probably watches Haslem play during Heat games and thinks "damn if THATS all it takes to get minutes there's no way I'll be turned down."
And quite frankly I wouldn't blame him.

The funny thing is that as bad as those old geezers were, we were a better defensive and rebounding team with them. just goes to show what an impact size makes.
