Even though you never get to play, even though you couldn't catch a basketball to save your life, even though you couldn't make wide open lay ups.....STILL once a Heat player always a Heat player. YOU WILL BE MISSED.
Goodluck to you Joel!

Good luck to Joel, thanks for that defense against Rose and the Bulls in 2011.

farewell warden, enjoyed all the moments you brought in a heat uniform and making GT3 cringe every time he saw you step foot on the court *salutes*

Riley you beautiful man! Joel was having his best season in a HEAT uniform and he got traded for it! I mean the Seat was warm all season and the rims remained unbent from Joel Anthony layup attempts! I for one will miss you Joel! All of the epic missed passes! All of the missed layups! All of the missed rebounds! All of the Fan Boys who tried to tell me Joel was good! Most of all I’m going to miss Tony and Eric trying to sell the fan base that Joel Anthony was improving and did things outside of all of the bad things we noticed!
Big congrats to Boston! A team trying to tank needed a leader. Someone that could lead them to the lottery without actually trying to lead them there! Joel Anthony will be the special piece that brings home the pick! Let’s take this moment and remember Joel Anthony! We may never seen another player like him again!

It is with a heavy heart that i am writing this post. He is my namesake, the reason i wear his sigil proudly below my avatar. The altered beast was more than a man, he transcended Pascals genome theory, he was a leviathan trapped in an era of social media and consumerism. I will never forget his musings.
May you always reside in the fabric of the cosmos and your granite hands smash the atoms of god.
Goodnight sweet prince, you will be missed dearly

There's no chance we win a championship now. The key piece is gone.
Kidding aside, he did all he could and got paid too much for it. Farewell, Joel.

My favorite moment with him was sometime last season or before it, when LeBron would clown around with him after every made FT of his. Joel wasn't the best FT shooter, but it was always a fun thing to see whenever that happened.

Not the most talented player but a hard worker who contributed more than some think. He's an interesting asset to have on the bench, that's for sure.

Joel, you weren't the best basketball player, but you were a hard worker, a class act, and the only only non-superstar able to get "MVP" chants in Miami. You shall be missed (along with GT3's rants of course).
