Lebron celebrates Anthony for 62 points

Post#1 » by lecola » Sat Jan 25, 2014 9:10 pm

"C'mon Mike Woodson keep @carmeloanthony in. I wanna see 70-75! Well actually I can't see cause I'm at an event but I'll see the highlights!"

"Congrats to my brother Carmelo Anthony on setting a franchise record last night! ‪#‎RocketLauncherFromBirth‬"

I don't know if it is worth a new thread, but I want to discuss it anyway.

This is why I love that guy. He always admires others, he never disses anybody and he shows his respect every time. He loves the game of basketball more than his rivalries and egos. He can easily congratulate one of his biggest rivals.

That is why I want this guy to earn everything he can.

This !

Yes it was a great performance but are we gonna create a thread for every LeBron's opponents ?

You are taking it too much serious dude. And who the **** cares about poor Knicks LOL. I want them to be as bad as they can but I love the game of basketball and love all these kinds of special performances, whoever the player is.

I can't even imagine Kobe or MJ celebrating somebody for a performance like this.

You can be good friends, or call each other as brothers but at the end you are still rivals. So it takes nuts to congratulate somebody who did something that you haven't done yet.

i will quote a white legend of that game

"I can't believe my team went soft - S-O-F-T,"

I will just fix it as "i can't believe our board went soft - S-O-F-T"

We might be probably the only board to celebrate Melo scoring 62 points LOL

Go find in their board something positive on LeBron then comeback

Yup, That's just who he is as a person, not just as a basketball player. no point in being something you're not. I have no problem with it because the Knicks and Melo aren't our rivals, our end goal won't be effected by anything the Knicks do, so whatever.

As friendly as Lebron is, he won't react like that to anything the Pacers do.

Sportsmanship is not soft. Stop it. He simply congratulated the guy because they're friends. If your friend dropped 62 points, you would be a dick to not congratulate them.

This is what make Lebron, a better person than the ones that don't, imo. Some like it some don't.
I just do not like negative people. That is my preference, being from N. Miami, I can tell you, I was in the minority being positively focused. I love the way Lebron acts.

On this heat board we have a lot of negative focused fans, so I am not surprised by some reactions.

I think it's pretty known they are best friends. They just happen to now play for franchises that hate each others guts.

However, it's true, LeBron has always been supportive of other NBA players, while other players don't like LeBron at all. And you know what? In the end, LeBron is the one who prospers the past 3 years.

Hmm and why not keeping it private then ? Why not sending just a simple text message from phone to phone ?
How on earth do you know he is the only one to congrulate Melo ? Is it because the others they just keep it in private ?

You see this all the time from Lebron, congratulating, complimenting.

Since he's won two titles, it's even moreso like this. He's secure in his position as the game's best and isn't jealous over every little attention that goes to others. Even when he said he was "jealous" of Durant's FGA/G, it was made light-heartedly because something like that HAS to made somewhat in jest; otherwise, the player seems to be unhappy where he's at.

At the same time, I'm sure he's watching all the love KD is getting and CA just got and it's going to motivate him even more.

Congratulate and keep it moving, nothing soft about that.

Well it's kind of strange friendship to me because when LeBron was struggling the 1st year of the big 3, i have never seen Melo saying something to defend him
But when the Knicks were struggling this season, LeBron was publicly supporting him

And that's nothing to do with sportmanship. When Melo scored 50 points against us in Miami, have you heard of LeBron (i know he was not playing) ?

As i said : yes it's good but do it in PRIVATE like the others, no need to inform people that you did it

it reminds of him when he posted a pic of the Miami Metropolice which opened him the road to go to an event

LeBron is superstar on the court with a good heart but his communication...

Bron and Melo are very close friends. Maybe Melo joins us next season.

Don't even joke about that. You know have a few clueless posters that wanted and still want Melo bad, even to replace Bosh.

I just want him to stay the Knicks, they deserve each other.
