Wow, i didn't know that. He's simply amazing. I can't really blame him for coasting in the first half of the season since he admitted that he was tired(hard to believe because a lot of us look at him like he's a super indestructible athlete, and forget that he's human), but as the old saying goes, it's not about how you start, it's how you finish. Congrats, King James!

It's a pleasure to watch him play basketball I will always be grateful and a fan of his.

Does anyone think that John Stockton's assist record will ever be broken with how sophisticated NBA defenses are today?

His record isn't being broken anytime soon. The closest active legit challenger is Chris Paul but I don't think he'll get it. So it'll probably be someone who just started or hasn't even entered the league yet.

i always thought rondo had a very good shoot at doing it just because of his court vision, craft and players around him but injuries and team policy have ruined that posibility so no i dont think somebody will break it in our lifetime.

At least they should call it "regular season points/rebounds/assists", not "career ...".
And the "career ...." should include the playoffs numbers.

^ it makes no sense to keep track of total Point/rebounds/whatever when each player played a different number of games (that's what happens if you count playoff games too).
