I was listening to LeBatard earlier today and apparantly the Sixers offered us ET for UD. Obviously Riley said no.

It was bad enough letting go of Joel. I can't imagine trading the heart and soul of the franchise. Not sure who I would say yes to but it certainly isn't Evan Turner.

Damn why couldnt they take roger mason :p: UD has played His heart out for us during his career. Im glad they didnt just send him to the worst team like that. It would have been interesting to see how turner would have fit but not at the cost of a heat legend, its gonna take a REALLY REALLY good player to even think about that.

Isnt evan turner basically the same player as michael beasley

I asked Dan LeBatard about the fact that the money doesnt work. UD and a first for Evan turner, does NOT work money wise.He did not reply. Im starting to think its bull

Like 'HeatDaChamps' said, it doesn't work salary wise. More importantly, no way we do that to Haslem. Our organization is loyal and classy, unlike others.

While I am conflicted to get rid of UD or not, because I think he is still valuable when it comes to the Pacers (last 2 years proved to be a game changer, multiple times, the unsung hero), trading him for ET would have made no sense. We don't need him. We have Beasley for that role already. We'd have two people with the same skill set basically.

Thad Young would be better for this team lol.

The Heat locker room would have been real devastated if UD was traded though. Very bad for the team if something like that happened. Everyone should stay put, except if we cut that Liggins guy and get Caron or something. Lol Toney Douglas has been on this team for like 2-3 weeks and already LeBron gave him a WWE belt. Just for that I'd feel bad we just let that dude go but you gotta do what you gotta do anyway.

Thats a crock. This is a mindless rumor, Id believe the offer if was UD and Cole for Turner. UD solely doesnt match. The Heat cant trade a 1st, UD's contract doesnt expire this season (po). Nothing about this rumor is remotely true.
