For the uninformed, the Laureus Award is basically the MVP award... for every sport put together. The winner of it can claim the title of "greatest athlete in the world".

Hmm, Kobe was nominated in 2011. I think he's the #1 athlete to be nominated for stuff after his best years. Kinda like his defensive all-first teams past Wade's rookie season. He should've been nominated for this award earlier in his career. Anyway, I hope LBJ wins it. He deserves it.
