Lebron's Minutes

Post#1 » by whitehops » Sat Mar 15, 2014 9:32 pm

In the event that LeBron's slump is somehow related to fatigue, I was curious to see the mileage on him compared to other players that played a lot of minutes and consistently had deep playoff runs.

I was too lazy to count all the minutes they've played in international tournaments so i'll just list the amount they entered.

international comps:
Lebron - 5
Kobe - 2
MJ - 4
KG - 2

* note: besides LeBron, all the minutes are totaled from the end of their ___th season.

LeBron has played slightly less than 1000 minutes in the last few playoffs, so with the last few games left this season + playoffs LeBron should hit 40,000 career minutes and be around 29 years, 200 days old when the season is over.

LeBron was quoted as saying Wade's return to health has taken him out his rhythm. He's not fatigued

Just because he quotes it, don't make it true.
I remember when the Dolphins were perennial contenders

i think both opinions are true, he is fatigued thats clear as day i meen cmon Lebron and as off dwyane health i think thats not going to be a problem him and wade will find a solution, two very high IQ players... still i would start resting lebron right now and not the last week of the regular season

very nice info indeed... and this is very concerning as far as lebron health and durability goes going forward... to total this amount of milage and he is not even 30 years old is mindbogling. and lebron is a genetic freak of nature we all know it but also i think he knows this kind of stats that reflect his body wear and thats why he takes great care of his body wich translates in good health and durability
