It's sad to say this but.... Shane Battier & Norris Cole are curretly playing the worst Basketball on the entire TEAM. Norris since the All Star Break has been down right terrible. Dumb shot selection, dumb defense, low IQ with the ball and doing everything possible to be benched. Hopefully the guy gets out of it but right now, its looking like we should of traded him while we had some value in him. Shane....aww Shane...I love Shane but I think hes thinking way to much about retirment. Seems like he doesnt care right now and can't do anything right.

I don't agree with Shane not caring & thinking about retirement. Fact of the matter is that he shouldn't be guarding PF's/7 footers in the first place. Teams have gotten much better around the league & their finally starting to exploit the mismatch of Battier guarding 4's

Cole on the other hand like you said is down right terrible. This slump is getting him close to Mike Bibby status & trust me that's not good at all. I love Cole & I hope that he gets out of this slump because we're going to need him in the postseason

Cole over Douglas and Battier over Beasley aren't decisions based purely on level of play. Not sure if that's a good thing at this stage.

Im starting to worry Battier is heading towards a Mike Bibby type playoff run. Currently Battier brings very little to the table, and when he's playing out of position at PF he relly hurts us at times.

It's very tricky, knowing when you should trust a veteran and be loyal because of past accomplishment and when the road just ran it's course and it's time to move on. Battier I feel is on the verge of that decision.

i agree with you. teams now know they have to play thru battier wich could be see perfectly vs the cavs when they were playing thru varejao who is not a jagernaut on the offensive end but still he was owning battier like he wasnt even there... as far as cole goes i think he will be out of the rotation when the playoffs arrive...at least for some serier matchups like indiana...
