Good thread, I think we win. Oden will be very helpful against the behemoth frontline of Memphis. I wouldn't be shocked to see Wade sit out though if he did real damage to his knee. Hopefully he does play and the knee is fine.

I didn't want to post this in the OP because it's a game thread but I just wanted to take the time to pay a special appreciation to Mike Miller who will be getting his ring Friday night. Thanks for the memomarble moments during our title runs & during the regular season. You had the heart of a lion & at times I didn't even know how you were able to walk. Hell you even ran funnier than Chris Bosh on most nights but thanks for the memories Mike, LET IT FLY













His "White-ness" will always be remembered in Heat history

Mike Miller is what we are missing

I miss Mike Miller .

I wanted to pay a tribute as well in my game thread ( since i was expecting a win vs celtics and i amde a tribute in advance) but i wanna do it as well ( sry to the OP since you made one as well ) ...

It's gonna suck seeing MillerTime in an opponents jersey. Played his ass off on every single play despite having the the bones of a 60 year old. Every time he came on the floor it was electric in the AAA, he was our assassin.

During the 2012 Finals I was actually in France doing some volunteering/traveling and I stayed up every night til about 6 AM to catch our games.

I was drinking some fine ass wine and eating chocolates during game 5, when Mike started making it rain, I literally started crying. haha It was the perfect end to a long/stressful playoff run

The next day I was so stoked and explaining to my host family what had happened (they were from the UK) and of course they had no idea what I was blabbing about.

Mike Miller made me cry like a middle aged woman while eating chocolates, and I'll always cherish that memory

I hope they have a video montage for Mike. For how well known that shot without the shoe was, we were down 10, and if that missed and SA went down and got another basket, things could be so vastly different.

I was really frustrated out by the stupid loss to a tanking scrub ass team like the Celtics even though I should be used to it by now.. It's like the first seed is there for the taking and we just desperately want to give it away for the kicks..

I think this team would prefer the 2nd seed....and I can understand.

They're not worried about Indiana. Also its less stress on their body if they face the Wizards in the 2nd round.

This was one of the toughest move when the Heat amnestied Miller, wish he could had taken a pay cut and let go Lewis who is no help to this team.... Well I'll be at the game to see Mike "Let It Fly" ,,,, Hopefully we win and Bron could drop 30+ and Wade at least drop 25... Well just get the W,,,

I believe he is only allowed to sign with Miami AFTER his original contract with the Heat expires. I believe it is after next season. He will be 36 years old.

I'd want him. He is not only one of the top 3 best 3 point shooters in the game IMO, but also is a good rebounder, smart defender, and good hustle.

I really want this dude back. I'm a huge mike miller fan..
