Need some advice for tonight's game...

Magic fan here! I'm from Orlando, but I'm in Ft. Lauderdale for the weekend and really want to go to the Heat game tonight. Any advice where I should sit? Also I usually buy tickets from scalpers in Orlando cause it's cheaper than going through stubhub. Do they scalp for Heat games and if so, are the tickets cheaper or more expensive than on the websites?
Thanks in advance

Buy from stub hub closer to game time. I am pretty sure they stop selling 2-3 hours before the game but if you get close to that time people usually do fire sales on tickets. Good luck!

Do you know if I need a paper ticket or can they just scan my phone?

Better to bring the ticket then scanning from the phone

You need a paper ticket. The Arena staff is really a stickler for this. Last time I went to the game I left mine and and my friends tickets in my car at friend's house (drove to the game in friend's car). Anyways they would not scan our tickets through the phone. I had to run to a hotel lobby across and down the street to get it printed by a guy, who's basically a hustler as his only business is printing out tickets and charging 5 dollars for each. It was really damn annoying, but at that point there's really not a lot you can do. As the game had already started and there wasn't any time for any alternate path.
So in short, yes you do need a paper ticket. And yes, I am still pissed about having to pay 5 bucks just to get my ticket printed.

Thanks guys! Went to the game last night (bought from stub hub). Sat in section 115, 27 rows up. Pretty good seats, and overall a fun experience as it was my first time going to a game in a different nba arena (been to literally hundreds of games in Orlando). DT traffic was absolutely horrendous afterwards though :/
Again, thanks for the input!

scalpers are usually cheaper and have fantastic seats. I was at the game too. To this day, i never understood why the put the arena in such a terrblle place in regards to traffic...and locale too. On the way out are a bunch of bums. I hate that ****. And were not going to get another arena for a looooooooong time unless someone like Bill Gates wants to buy us.

Dude, have you been to some of the other arenas and stadiums around the country. If you have, you will realize that the AAA has one of the best location for any arena nationwide. Yeah, there are bums in the area near the parking area. But that happens in the downtown of every big city.
The fact that we are located adjacent to the water and. Bayside is awesome. Not to mention the proximity to South Beach and the club district. I think the AAA might have spoiled you. I love our arena and location. Also. Traffic is just part of the experience, every arena has bad traffic. It's better to just embrace it as part of the experience than to mope about it.

theres load of areas they could have the arena placed along the coastline. But youre right, im spoiled. All other areas might have worse traffic patterns. So maybe i should take my beef with civil engineers that built these damned roads lols. Anywho, i visited the amway center in orlando for a heat game and that was fantastic...but its new and the traffic wasnt nearly as bad...but eh, when i type stupid ****, dont take it seriously lols

Nah, I understand you concern, but like I said it's just part of the experience. I currently live in Tampa, and have been to both the new and older Amway Center. Yeah, I agree the traffic isn't crazy there like Miami, but their location sucks, there's nothing nearby. Also it should be mentioned Orlando has a much smaller population. But still, not sure where you parked, but there was still a noticeable vagrant population. In addition in the past I have been fortunate enough to visit both the AAC (Dallas) and Toyota Center (Houston), and I gotta say their location is absolutely horrendous, with the same vagrant population issue. At least with Miami you can walk to Bayside and kill some time till the traffic dies down, or take the Metro rail (I've never used it, but friends who have say it's pretty convenient). But especially in Dallas it's like you're in a bad residential neighborhood.
