Some of The (Many) Hard Fouls On LeBron James

this is just a little compilation of hard fouls on LeBron, i'm still a little salty that luis scola's facepalm wasn't called a flagrant. feel free to add clips if you like, and we can all complain because after doing a quick search I haven't seen nearly as many hard fouls on other players in the league. disclaimer: haven't searched any fouls on howard. griffin is probably the guy who gets it the worst after LeBron.

some are harder than others, but the thing I noticed is that besides the teletovic foul LeBron very rarely retaliates or gets angry. in fact, nobody on the heat seem to get upset. combine that with the refs being more liberal with their whistles when it comes to hard fouls on LeBron i'm kind of concerned one day one of these hard fouls is going to injure him.

and do you think there is a way to make these less common? players like howard get fouled hard but it's not often on the fastbreak or on drives, and those are the fouls which are more dangerous.

Dude, I was in such a good mood, and you just made me so damn angry. All these memories came back. There are so many just from this year, that you don't even need to add the old ones.

Spo has to show he has the cajones to stand up to officiating

Against the Pacers was as bad it gets and a total slap to the face. He gets fouled hard with an arm around the neck (borderline flagrant), then gets slapped in the face by Scola with no play on the ball (obvious flagrant) and he's the one that gets called for a flagrant when he accidentally elbowed Hibbert on offense. Officiating cant really get worse than that.

Can you imagine that sequence happening to Jordan??? Hell NO

yeah and it's clear spo isn't going to come out and do something, i was wondering if the heat could use an enforcer. birdman would be a great candidate but he's too valuable to lose.

i'm not saying the heat need someone to do this exactly, because i personally think it was dirty and dangerous but i think it would help if they had someone that could 'send a message' in returning a hard foul:

I dont totally support what Pittman did but the way it happened was so poetic. Lance (scrub at the time) gives LeBron the choke sign for missing a meaningless ft. Pitt gives him a flying bow and leaves lance doing that same choke sign but for a different reason. Thatw as Pitts only relevant moment.

That was a little too hardcore though. I'm more for the Haslem on Hansborough type of enforcement. That was awesome and better believe UD will do it again in the playoffs if the Pacers decide to get physical.

yeah that play is probably a better example, i think it was a little less dirty than pittman's. i had forgotten about it.

all i know is if the heat play either the bulls or pacers these playoffs i can guarantee there will be at least a couple of those types of plays each series.

If he can't do much else, Oden can be our goon.

he's seemed to have cut down on them this year so far, but yeah he has had his share of flops in the past. as a fan of LeBron it made me a little disappointed when he flopped, I don't think he needs to resort to that with all the talent he has.

I agree, he can take over games at will so he doesn't need to exploit the game like some others do.

its all because of his narrative

when you continually perpetuate the myth the lebron is the most physically imposing human who ever lived refs begin to think he's indestructible and that flagrant fouls arent flagrant because he's bigger than everyone
