Bench Rashard Lewis for that play alone.

NBA level player, taking a pass from LeBron James in a crucial game winning possession, and he can't even finish the easy play.

LeBron makes a good, game winning pass to Lewis... Lewis has an easy layup or dunk right in front of his eyes, yet he chooses to go around to the other side of the rim for a reverse? Giving the defenders time to catch him and ruin the play.

Bench him. That is inexcusable. I'm not even kidding. You can't be NBA level playing with this team and do something so dumb like that.

I don't even think Cole/Chalmers would have messed that up. Even if he misses LeBron is right under him at that point to foul quickly. A quick reverse layup would have sewn up the game.

Just be thankful that wasn't Beasley, spo might have cut him from the team on the spot!

youre the anti-MiaFLSurf.

One would save a terrorist before playing beasley. The other would become a terrorist if it meant giving beasley minutes. Its entertaining.

Beasley's problem from the start has been aggressively attacking the basket. As "smooth" as he is, he would have tried to lay it in for some reason. I'm reminded of Game 4 vs. Boston in 2010 (when Wade dropped 46), when Wade loudly howled at Beasley to "dunk that ----!" during a drive to the basket, as though he knew Beasley wouldn't be as aggressive to the basket against Kendrick Perkins and Kevin Garnett.

beasley would have stepped back enough to put his foot on the 3pt line and then miss it

Thing is, I didn't mind Rashard passing it, mainly because I knew his slow-ass would frucked it up.

looking at the play again its a hard call to make. it couldve gone either way, not a clear block not a clear foul. rashard IMO made the right play, plumlee was ready for him to try that ish so he passed it to an open lebron.

lebron messed up though. he had the rim protecting his left hand, he couldve layed it in with the left but he decided to try and dunk it. maybe he underestimated plumlees leaping ability or idk what. anyways it wasnt an easy play to make. lebron will slam that 9/10 times, last night it just didnt happen

He's going to be part of our playoff rotation so get used to it, the guy is a better player than Beasley.

Yeah, Rashard is just so valuable, what with his below average 3 point shooting, anemic rebounding and complete lack of ability to do anything else.

The first part is true the second part needs green font. With some of these rotations you would swear Spo is a double agent or something and instead of helping the team is constantly making things harder than they should be.

And what positive has Beasley has done that all 3 of his teams have yet to figure out? Lebron trusts Rashard over Beasley, that is fact, he has openly talked about Rashard. And want to know why? Because Beasley has huge mental lapses in the game. There's days he is completely focused and there's days he just doesn't get it.

Coaches like Adelman and Gentry (both who have been successful in this league), couldn't figure Beasley out. Spoelstra can't figure him out as well. No one can, the guy provides nothing but negatives on the court.

You guys are still salivating over potential, I heard all about Dorrell "Tracy McGrady" Wright's potential and guess what, it got exhausting waiting for it to come out.

Any coach in the NBA plays Rashard over Beasley if they're in Spoelstra's shoes. And that's not because Rashard is some great talent, but they trust his experience a lot more than Beasley's boneheaded play.
