At least Bosh is consistent in this series

Post#1 » by Jaxon » Mon May 26, 2014 10:28 pm

G1: 9 points, 4-12 shooting, 2 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 fouls, 1 turnover
G2: 9 points, 4-9 shooting, 6 rebounds, 1 block, 2 steals, 3 fouls
G3: 9 points, 4-12, 4 rebounds, 1 steal, 5 fouls, 1 turnover

See, consistency. Anyone want to place bets on the over/under of 9 points tonight?

Take it easy. Man just gave up banging, he is in transition. It's a process. Afterall he is our dragon.

I will take the over on that but not by much.

My prediction for his stats tonight:

15 points, 5 rebounds with better defense on West/Scola.

i'd like the 15 to be on efficient shooting.

Him doing anything positive will make a win so much easier tonight. We know LeBron and Wade will show up but we need Bosh to just be a positive contributor. Right now he has been a net negative on the floor and that should be unacceptable.

How is being honest turning on him? I'm not calling him a scrub, and I would be one fo the first defending him when he gets unwarranted **** thrown his way, but right now he's playing like he's 6'2''.

Read the below quote. Nobody is talking about "either title" we talking about THIS series. He's played like complete **** so far and it's not turning on him to point that out. God damn some of y'all act like the stars of this team should be above criticism, it's sickening

Well I had to stop posting because another poster or a couple of them were pointing out that I was being a bit close minded, and I was as well as crabby like a little bitch and a bit intoxicated. So handling my school stuff also gave me time to think about where the others are coming from.

If we knew before we signed Bosh that he was going to produce just these numbers and games as time went on, then Riley would have signed some players to fit in with the leftover ~$20 million. No one anticipated Spo having Bosh hinder his game so much that he's now a glorified jumpshooter that got too skinny to effectively guard the post without help. I see where everyone else is coming from now. I don't agree with us trading him because of that though. He came in as a 22/11 player and was signed just under his market worth at the time. Then Spo asked him to focus his game on jumpshooting to draw his man out and create space for LBJ/Wade. His lack of effort on the boards is staggering. But it's always been that way even in TOR but his teams were never good or great shooting teams and the center he was paired up with is a 7ft SG, so rebounds were to be had one way or another. But now there's not a lot of offensive boards to be had since we shoot so well. But what about defensive rebounds? I think he took it upon himself to lose more weight so he'd be more useful on the perimeter but that completely crushed him inside. At his current weight and strength, he has no hope of getting an amount of rebounds that all of us would expect from a $20 million PF/C. I think he forgot that he was playing the center position and/or didn't think that he would be this worn out from facing bigger guys over the span of a season + playoffs (think Shane playing PF when he's just a SF). If stretching the floor and playing small ball and good active movement were the original idea, then there would have been no reason to sign Bosh to begin with (aside from attracting LBJ, obviously) but Spo didn't implement small ball until 2011-2012. We already got Bosh locked up when Spo made that adjustment. Bosh did not and is not playing like a $20 million player should, but we all know what his value is on the open market. Just because we keep a vice on his game doesn't mean other teams would.

That being said, I still do not agree with the notion of trading Bosh for something the coach decided to do. Nor do I think it would be fair to trade him since he has yet to cost us a Finals. But I'm willing to explore each trade scenario fairly to entertain the rest of you. Some of trade scenarios I've seen are absolutely ridiculous though. Someone mentioned Asik + Parsons for Bosh. Dwight Howard, James Harden, and Chris Bosh together would destroy the NBA for YEARS. No one would ever win barring injury except them. We're not in the business of creating super contenders for other teams. I never, ever want Bosh paired up with D12. That's nuts. Everything else seemed so unrealistic. But I'm willing to give it all a chance to breakdown and see some fun possibilities.

I stand behind who we sign until we get rid of them. I'm from that train of thought. But that doesn't mean everyone else has to think that way and I forgot that while I was on my "period" yesterday so I'm sorry. 8-)

CB took a vow of celibacy and will no longer be banging so I don't expect his numbers to get better unless he gets it wet from behind the arc

I'm expecting soft calls against us in Game 5. But it doesn't matter we're just 1 win away for rewriting history
