This time, we're peaking at the right time

And he's right. I think for the first time since the Big 3 got together other than maybe the first year, we're peaking at just the right time. We've been sludging through this season for sure and were not playing at the same level we were last year, but ever since the playoffs started we've gotten better with each game and are finally starting to get back at the level we were at while we were in the middle of that 27 game win streak with everyone healthy. Our defense is clicking, Wade has that hop in his step that would always leave by mid-March the past two seasons, Bosh has finally broken through the mental barrier that was holding him back against Indiana, and Lebron is playing at the highest level he has on both ends of the court since last year. Ray is hitting his shots, especially when it counts the most, and I have a feeling Battier and Chalmers will find their stroke in the Finals. And oh yeah, Birdman is just continuing to be a consistent workhorse for us.
Everyone keeps talking up the Spurs and how they're better while we're worse and we need to watch out...well I say the Spurs need to watch out. Not only do we play best with our back against the wall and as the underdogs with something to prove, but we're going to be far more healthy going into the Spurs series than we were last year and we will be at the peak of our powers.
The past two championships I feel like we peaked early on in the season which is why we struggled in some series we shouldn't have, but this year, they had the long game in mind and just as planned, we're peaking right as we're going into the Finals. Barring a Lebron implosion like in 2011, I like our chances against the Spurs a lot more than people give us credit for (and for the record, I predicted Heat in 5 while everyone was on Indiana's jock as well).
