Pacers & their fans smelled the COFFEE 3 straight times

Post#1 » by dr3am » Sat May 31, 2014 5:24 pm

This thread is dedicated to the burial of our favorite sons, the Indiana Pacers

For 3 straight years we had to deal with their nonstop trash talk dating all the way back to 2012. Let's take a trip down memory lane folks & get everyone caught up

Indiana coach Frank Vogel wasted no time on Thursday taking shots at the Miami Heat, claiming the Heat are "the biggest flopping team in the NBA."

"Every drive to the basket, they have guys not making a play on the ball, but sliding in front of drivers," Vogel said. "Oftentimes, they're falling down even before contact is even being made. It'll be interesting to see how the series is officiated."

You think that was gold? Let's remember the fake tough guy antics of former Pacer Danny Granger

 through all Danny's fake tough guy antics LeBron James averaged 30 PPG on 50%, 10 REBS & 6 AST compared to Danny's 13 PPG, 4 REB, 3 AST

But that's not even the best part of the 2012 series, how can any Heat fan forget the debut of Lance Stephenson to relevancy

Image

Ah Lance being Lance as "they say", well thanks Lance for being part of the reason why these memorable performances happened right after throwing up the choke sign

What a entertaining series, especially when the Pacers got the wood laid on them for their dirty antics

Sorry Lancy & Indiana, we got the last laugh
Image

2013 Eastern Conference Finals, Heat vs Pacers. Ah after beating the Knicks in the second round the Pacers were riding cloud 9. Especially with Franky starting off the series dubbing us as "Just another team in their way"

Last year we signed a gem, a dude that wouldn't take any of the Pacers bs lightly, his name? Well this gif & image will always give Tyler & Pacers fans nightmares

The Indiana "Excuses"

After Paul George's defensive lapse the Pacers ended up using Game 1's loss as an excuse to why they lost this series but just totally ignore the fact that this guy made them eat their crow, Literally
Image

After 6 grueling games the HEAT finally showed why the Pacers are not in their class in this epic beatdown in Game 7

Image

So now that's HEAT-2 Pacers-0

Yes Big Roy, it's was a long summer for ya...AGAIN
Image

You would think after these two series the Pacers would be more respectful...But that's not in the Pacers DNA and it started this offseason all the way up to the ECF this year

http://nba.si.com/2014/01/16/paul-georg ... advantage/

“We don’t,” George said. “I mean, we know how well we play at home. We’re one of the best teams in the postseason last year defending our home court. We just know how big home-court advantage is when it comes down to postseason. That’s one of our main goals this year is to lock up the first seed so we can have the opportunity to play at home throughout the whole playoffs.”

This isn't exactly top class trash talking by Paul George but it's still disrespectful. But let's look at Kwame Brown 2.0 aka Roy Hibbert

"I have nothing against Chris, LeBron, D-Wade, I love Birdman, whenever he checks in the game, I'm always like 'Birdman! Birdman!' I have nothing against those guys. It's competition. I don't hate them. I want to beat those guys so bad. They're talking about three-peating. Nah, we're going to stop that."

[tweet]https://twitter.com/Hoya2aPacer/status/407757124983222273[/tweet]

Tisk, tisk. We even had Lance Stephenson calling a regular season game in December "Championship Game"

After being a Lou Williams choke away from being knocked out of the first round & switching roles with the Washington Wizards the Pacers got what they wanted, HCA against us...Which was quickly took away in Game 2...And here comes the Indiana "Excuses" with Paul George claiming that they should've won Game 2...I never seen a "star player" openly admit about concussion symptoms being a reason why his team loses the game but that's the "Blue Collar" ways for Indiana

 Stephenson just showed in this series why everybody shouldn't be allowed to talk

”To me, I think it’s a sign of weakness,” Stephenson said, according to the Associated Press. ”He never used to say anything to me. I always used to be the one who said, `I’m going to do something to get you mad.’ Now he’s trying to do it to me. So I feel like it’s a weakness. I feel like I’m doing something right because I’m getting under his skin, but I’ve definitely got to keep stepping up to the plate and be more aggressive when he does that.

That "sign of weakness" worked out well in Game 4 huh Born Stupid?

Paul George saved his best for last after Game 4

“You can’t tell me we don’t attack the basket as much as they attack the basket,” George said. “You can’t tell me we’re not aggressive. Maybe we’re too aggressive. We’re just as aggressive as they are attacking the basket and making plays at the rim. Maybe this was just home cooking.”

“Looking at the stat sheet we outplayed them,” George said. “You have to give them credit, they won this game at the free throw line. They really just were able to get to the line more than we were. I thought we outplayed them tonight.

“It’s just demoralizing when a game is lopsided. I’m sorry to say, but that was the case, again. How rare is it we shoot 50 percent, turn the ball over around 13 or so times, out-rebound a team and lose a ball game? … They made 30 free throws. That put them over the edge.”

Well Paul's bitching actually worked because one of the most terribly officiated games in NBA history happened in Game 5

For all the "blue collar" nonsense, these Pacers love making a lot of excuses...I could've swore Blue Collar means hard work ethic & not making excuses? Also does "Blue Collar" mean blowing kisses to other men or blowing in other men's ears? Wow these Pacers man

Image

Image

 Even with all the help from Ed Malloy, the Pacers were still one Chris Bosh 3 away from being eliminated...But it's okay tho, we just came back to Miami and gave them an ass whooping similar IF NOT BETTER than the one in Game 7 last year to advance once again to our 4th straight Finals

So now after tonight it's HEAT-3 Pacers-0

Thanks for all the laughs Indiana BUT you blew it, you CHOKED. You got HCA but yet we whooped dat ass in 6. Charles Barkley proclaimed y'all as the best team in the East after getting Evan Turner but we all saw great the Evan Turner addition was....

Smh, take this one away from me Reggie because I know your'e rolling in your grave right now

Image

Keep spreading dem but cheeks for us Indiana, you are our SONS
Image

Sorry Pacers, you've done something the Celtics & Bulls failed to accomplish...Played us 3 straight times only to lose 3 straight...WE ALWAYS GET THE LAST LAUGH

Yo! Thanks for that trip down memory lane. Makes this beautiful Saturday morning just a bit sweeter. I remember when they beat us in Game 2 of 2012, they started jumping around on our homecourt like they've done something. Three years later, they have broken.

Thanks for forcing us create small ball and pushing us to our best, Indiana!

The Pacers become the first team in this wild HEATLES ride to be exposed three straight times..

The celtics sorta went through it with Nets sort of being celtics this PLAYOFFS

Next year, bulls become the next victim

Not once, not twice, but three times eliminated by the Heatles, or in other words your franchise being irrelevant
Stop being so disrespectful.

This is a great thread. :D

You don't make threads very often wm3, but when you do, they're quite memorable.

Yup, although that's practically public domain since it comes from a song. Now "refs you suck", that one is copyright belonging to Heat fans and I've seen other teams using it... :x
