I want a rematch

Post#1 » by JLop » Mon Jun 16, 2014 2:53 am

I want a rematch. This is no the end. As a true basketball fan I can´t wait to see this happening. Spurs vs. Heat in the 2015 finals, the most anticipated series in NBA history and the greatest basketball trilogy of all time. Winner takes all the glory.

Let´s go Heat!

+1 to the ballboy then. It is my thinking exactly. We'll win the best 2 out of 3. We have to get to work NOW though.

i'd like to win another one over them in 2015 too. They came back with a vengeance, we should too. They're the closest thing we have to a rival in the NBA.

I wouldn't mind if we play better and have a better roster

I definitely want a rematch, but not with the roster we currently have in place.

We have some work to do in the off season.

Unless Spoelstra gets replaced, the Spurs are going to work the Heat again. Pop is just a much better coach.

Heat-Spurs have definitely provided some of the most memorable finals moments, matchups, and rivalries in recent memory. Both amazing top notch organizations and I'd definitely love the idea of a round three.
Not so sure how realistic it is to expect the Spurs to reach the Finals again if Timmy decides to ride off into the sunset and retire on this high note with his fifth ring though. No way. How do you replace him? Pop plans to stay but it still seems like Timmy is up in the air. If he decides to go I'm thinking it'll be an OKC-Miami rematch instead (in which case Spo manhandles Scott Brooks IMO).

Are ya'll crazy? I'm all for the competitive spirit of wanting a rematch but looking at it logically, give me anyone but the Spurs. They mopped the floor with the Heat. If we get the Spurs again, you better hope the Heat roster made some big changes AND Spo actually has a new gameplan.

Wouldn't be easy, that's for sure. Heat might be limited in how much they can improve their roster, and the Spurs will be back just as good, possibly better.
