Retire Haslem's jersey when the run is over.

I don't care if he isn't all time Hall of Fame material. He is a Miami Heat Hall of Fame material. The man has been 305 since the day he first entered the league and played for the Heat.

I will be highly pissed if the Heat don't retire Haslem's jersey in the rafters. He's a legend to all Heat fans. In the future, fans of other teams might look at Haslem's jersey in the AAA rafters and then go look up his Statistics and ask "WTF he isnt great!" but every Heat fan will know why he is up there.

Haslem didn't become a Heat legend because he opted out,

He opted out because he's already a Heat legend.

I have no doubt his # will be up there. He deserves it. Embodies everything a heat player should be since Riley took over.

I got into an argument a few years back on the GB about this, there were the people who I thought I was crazy, and the **** Celtics fans who were all "just goes to show how bad a franchise that is if they have to retire his jersey" (meanwhile they've retired the jerseys of defensive role players, but nevermind facts lol). But to me it's just so obvious, the dude is Miami Heat basketball, and he should be associated with the franchise however long he wants and have his jersey retired for sure.

This dude embodies everything a Heat player should be with his hustle and heart, though sad to see him basically declining but his heart would still be on the court. He was also an enforcer. Just everything a Heat player should be
