If he left how do you feel about him?

Post#1 » by Notorious23 » Thu Jul 3, 2014 2:40 am

Back in 2010 most Cleveland fans were sure he was staying. I don't think we even processed the idea he was gone. That's why when he left it was like WTF? Let's say on Wednesday he leaves Miami to play somewhere else. He let's everyone know he gave Riley time to construct the team. Similar to what he did in Cleveland with no commitment to get FA to come. Would you cheer him or boo him on his next visit?

Good question.

Unlike you guys (assuming you're a CLE fan... I'm on my phone so I can't see your teams), he brought some rings to Miami. That said, id neither boo nor cheer for him... I'd just kinda let it be

I've got Lebron James Heat AND Cleveland jerseys ready to burn. Working on my queen james sigs as I type this.

I would boo his ass and say **** him, and constantly bring up Not 1, Not 2, Not 3, Not 4, Not 5, Not 6, Not 7 and then bring back the comical 4th quarter jokes...

I would cheer for him. Thanking him for the stint while he was here and for giving us Blake Griffin and draft picks in return. Because if he leaves, he better be in a Clipper uniform

He'll become the GOAT mercenary and might start a trend of top 10 players just leaving instead of having people come to him. I appreciate what he did, but his lack of loyalty would keep him from being a true Heater

I would be sad to see an all-time great seriously damage his legacy. He did enough damage by jumping from Cleveland to Miami. Leaving Miami after just 4 years would leave a permanent mark on his legacy. You can't be the GOAT and jump ship every time things get rough. You can explain away leaving a Cleveland team that, after 7 years, couldn't put anyone better than Mo Williams around you. You can't explain away leaving Miami after four consecutive Finals and two championships. One time is excusable. You can blame the team. Twice and it's you.

I'd still cheer him when he came back, but I'd never consider him a true Heat player. He'd just be a guy who played here for awhile, like Shaq. It would be sad to see a player so great never have a fan base of his own.

so long and thanks for all the fish.

I've no problem if he leaves and thank him for the fun 4 years. Expect him to S&T so we could get Blake + or some other top player.

We would still win the East and challenge for the title.

Would be pleasantly relieved to be rid of the non-Heat Lebron fans that infest our forum.

if we lose him, were not making out of round 1...
even in the east..

We will also start cutting financially, because we wont be generating same revenues if lebron leaves..

He is staying! There is just no way he leaves

Thank him for his services with the organization and move on. There's no reason to boo him, he did his job well with us and performed the way we expected him to.
