A warm Heat welcome to Josh McRoberts, AKA "Mcbob".

He's not a big name but don't sleep on him, He's a good player that would be a perfect fit next to the big 3, IF they stay.

Great talented passer for a big man, very mobile and quite athletic , shoot's 3's at good rate, only 26 YO, big body, HIGH IQ player.

I hope the deal goes through.

He'll be good on the team if Spo can utilize his passing abilities. I just wish we had locked him up earlier for cheaper.

6'10 with a 7'1 wingspan so perfect height to play the 4

Plus he is a " jumpy " athlete

exactly.

he's not a horrible player

but 4 years at 23 million?????????????

we overpayed and now we might have the rebuild the team around guys like him.

Personally if I'm Lebron, Im not impressed with these 2 signings at all.........

oh yeah Mcroberts totally wasnt the worst player in the bobcats starting Lineup last year.

Give it up. This guy has been in the league for 7 seasons now and his numbers are very very mediocre. HE ISNT GOING TO GET ANY BETTER! Yes he was a 2nd round pick so kudos to him for making a career and tricking a team into paying him 4 years 23 million.

I just wish that team wasnt the Heat.

The price seems high, but I assume that an empty roster limited our appeal. This signing really makes no sense if Lebron and Bosh run for the door.

Agreed. I cant imagine we're going after Mcbob if the big 3 leave. He'll be a great complementary piece if they stay.

Considering Channing Frye just got $8M per this is a pretty good signing. Next to the Big 3 he will be a good passer who can hit the open 3 and rebound and defend decently. Welcome to the Heat and glad to have him!

These signings of dudes who had beef with Bron, and they happen just after Pat Riley met with Lebron ???

I am freaking the **** out !!!

I don't like this crap.
I had a good feeling in 2010 - in fact starting from 2008 I was almost certain that Lebron and Wade would sign with the Heat (and was hoping for Bosh, too). That turned out right.

Now I am starting to get bad vibes from all these reports and signings.
Even if logic says Lebron doesn't really have a better option for winning and that can offer him the max, too.
Bad, bad vibes.

Oh, and BTW, just because McBob had a nice dunk doesn't mean he's athletic.
