Making sense of Lebron's decision

So, on the surface, this is about going back home. I am not convinced.

1) Why would it so long, why would it take the inability of Riley to add a major piece for Lebron to get homesick?

2) To each his own, but I am not seeing any other superstar getting so emotional about home turf, let alone about the home turf that turned against him so ungratefully just 4 years ago

So, what could be the reason?

1) Did he realize that he has a better chance winning in Cleveland instead of Miami where he has no choice but to put up with limitations of Wade and Bosh? Wade is not going anywhere and Bosh didn't want to go anywhere.

2) Did he want to be the only alpha dog in the organization? In Miami, no matter what he does, Riley, Arison and Wade would their own men.

3) Did he want to rule the Cleveland area with his business ventures in his bid to become the first billionaire athlete?

4) Did he want to take a break from being in a position of "championship or bust", particularly from a situation where he had no way of getting a legitimate superstar help?

5) Did he feel insulted that despite his ultimatums, Riley didn't go all-out to get him some help? I bet if Riley had known this development, he'd have convinced Arison to open his wallet and get marquee FAs via sign-n-trade
