erm.
Thanks for winning the 3pt shooting at the all star that year. I enjoyed that.
Thanks for bench warming and not complaining.
Thanks for hitting 3s when it really didn't matter and 1 or 2 when it did.
Thanks for trying to move your feet on D.
Thanks for that end of season game a couple of seasons ago when you were smashing.
Thanks for being Miami.
Hope you enjoyed the ride and the rings.
Hope you enjoy winter in Cleveland.

Thank you for being a true professional, even though Spo never played you.

He's had trouble getting playing time his whole career. He's still in the league because he's got 1 deadly skill, and he's been a good soldier.

Another true professional who enjoyed some nice moments with us. I'll remember that 25 point game he had against the Celtics in game one of the 2011 round against them.

After 6 seasons in Miami and being a hometown kid, I thought he would retire with Miami. Deadly 3pt shooter but seemed to lack the trust of Spo. He was a great locker room guy and good influence/mentor to the young players from what I heard. The locker room is going to miss him.

Always liked JJ, sad he never got decent minutes but I imagine there was a reason for that.

I know he left cause be never got the minutes
I liked his shooting and I thought he got better at defense. He does still take charges
But this is an f you to Spo no doubt.
Lebron been recruiting these guys all along lmao. They all a one year rental. I want to now beat them so bad

Always liked JJ but for so many reason but every time Spo trusted him to hit big jumpers, he seemed out of sync. JJ was a confusing players and now he has a chance to prove himself in Clev. Spo never trusted him fully, so this is his chance to prove him wrong. Curious to see what happens in Clev.

That was awesome, and then got into it with that punk PP...
Just wished he stayed loyal and of all teams didnt go to THAT team.

Not just the accuracy but can get a lot of shots up. I never understood why he didn't play more in those situations where we needed a three.
No ill will toward him. We barely played him and offered the minimum.

I don't care that he went to Cleveland, just don't understand his decision from a basketball point of view. As others have said, it seems more like a move to stick it to Spo.

Feels like Miller is getting back at Arison, and Miller to Spo..
I mean JJ is from Miami, played at the U, has taken less to stay here, now goes to a team we have a huge beef with? Annoys me.

not going to lie, will be tracking JJ with the Cavs. If he looks anywhere near 1/2 way decent its a bad reflection of how we use or dont use our players. Unproven in the NBA I really think Blatt will prove to be a great hire. JJ is not a starter but should be in every game for 3 or 4 splashes.
Was it last year he drove the lane and dunked it on someone and myself and eveyone was like "Woah!" didnt know that boy had it in him.

Love JJ, and the fact that he left Miami is probably Spo's fault. That being said, I'm not too worried about his blow-up potential with CLE. Between Wiggins/Waiters/James/Miller/Bennett, I'm not sure where he gets his minutes. If he does manage to find minutes, and does blow up, it will be validation of what I've been saying all along (even if I haven't really been on these boards to say it): we should have played JJ FAR more often. Underrated rebounder, decent enough team defender, and goddamnit can he space the floor.
