So wait?!? Our PG's who are younger and better than Quinn will now learn from him?

Can't wait till next year when Joel becomes a coach to teach our Bigs how to rebound and score...

Ok GT3 out again!!

Means nothing. Everyone trains with hakeem in the summer and they continuo to suck in the post. Phil/Riley were below average players and became the best coaches in nba history. One thing doesnt mean other.

Chris Quinn on the coaching staff baffles me. He did play for the Spurs and was Director Of Player Development for Northwestern for less than a year, the rest is a mystery to me.

LeBron and Kobe (among others) improved greatly in the post after training with Hakeem.

I busted out laughing when I heard

Seriously?

Player development? How did he get that job lol. He wasn't even that good, smh.

I try to stay positive sometimes but I don't see how he helps the coaching staff....

Guess we will see. This still looks like a troll job

They are supposed to..they are the greats of the game. Lots of other names trained with hakeem and ddnt turn out. Dwight for example.

Northwestern head men's basketball coach Chris Collins has announced the addition of Chris Quinn to the team's staff as director of player development.

"We're very excited to add Chris to our staff," Collins said. "I have known Chris for a long time and it's great to add a Midwestern guy who had a great deal of success playing in the Big East at Notre Dame. His NBA experience will be a valuable resource in the growth of our student-athletes."

"I am extremely grateful and excited to be joining Coach Collins' staff here at such a prestigious university," said Quinn. "It is an exciting time to be a part of this program, and I hope that I can bring another dimension to an already great staff."

A 2006 graduate of Notre Dame with a degree in marketing, Quinn was a three-year starter and a two-time co-captain for the Fighting Irish, earning a first-team All-Big East selection as a senior when he averaged 17.7 points and 6.4 assists per game. He was recognized three times as a member of the Big East Academic All-Star Team and was the recipient of the Big East Sportsmanship Award his senior year. His 1,454 career points rank 16th in school history while also ranking fifth in steals (155), sixth in 3-point field goal percentage (.417), seventh in 3-point field goals made (239) and eighth in assists (428).

...Dwight got a lot better. Y'all don't remember how raw he used to be. The injuries ruined his postup game for awhile (and he's only starting to get back to old form) but he was unstoppable 1-on-1 in the post circa 2011. Even broken down Amar'e benefited a lot from Hakeem.

With Quinn developing Cole's game, the limit's the sky.
For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?

he don't need to be a great player to be a great coach. MJ sure as hell never taught a young player anything. the mighty Quinn is back!
