ON THE LAST EPISODE OF MIAMI HEAT BASKETBALL...
The Heat opened the season against the Wizards, and while they had a rough start, especially from the 3 point line, Heat pull out a win with monster games from Bosh, Wade, and Cole. Many people questioned Wade and wondered if he'd stay healthy, or would he be able to shoot the basketball? Wade after being hit in the calf, suffered a minor bruise but came back into the game, and scored 14 points (2 threes), in the 4th to solidify their win on opening night. Wade scored a total of 22 points.
Everyone also had their doubts on Bosh and pondered if he could be the first option on this Heat team, or if he could even rebound. Bosh comes out and gets 26/15/4 assists with 1 block and 1 steal, silencing his critics for the time being.
Many people wondered if Cole would fit in as a starter. After one game, he is making people question themselves on whether he is the answer or not, after putting out an impressive 23 points and blowing past John Wall.
The bench showed a solid outing, with 22 points off the bench and the rookies, Napier and Ennis, showing why they need playing time on the court. They came in and helped the Heat get a 7 point lead in beginning of the 4th quarter. Then after a Wizards missed shot, Bosh rebounds the ball, gives it to Chalmers, who passes it to Ennis on the fast break, and Ennis gives a MASSIVE FACIAL to Rasual Butler. The energy in the building was unbelievable, despite what the haters have to still say about the Miami Heat crowd.
We now head out to the next game, against the Philadelphia 76ers on the road. The Heat will still try to build their habits, their chemistry, their poise, as well make shots. Do you have this team's back, no matter the outcome?
