ON THE LAST EPISODE OF MIAMI HEAT BASKETBALL...

For the third game in a row, the Heat put on an offensive display that has not only been impressive, but every player that was on the floor contributed, whether it be points, assists, rebounds, steals – The Heat as a team has been looking solid. The Heat even outrebounded the Raptors, 43-28.

Quietly, Luol Deng has been putting up 15/4/2 on 57% shooting the last 3 games, scoring 18/4/3 1 block, 1 steal against the Raptors.

Dwyane Wade, after having a horrible shooting night going 4-18 for 9 points but having 10 assists, came out looking spry with 19 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists and 2 blocks (on Jonas Valanciunas). Keep an eye on Wade’s assists throughout the season!

Bosh after having a great start was quiet in the 2nd half of the game, but ended up with 21/11/4. Bosh so far is averaging 4 assists.

Shawne Williams for the 2nd game in a row, scored double digits and hits 3 3’s, for a total of 16 points, with 5 rebs. That abysmal debut is looking like a distant memory.

The Heat now face the Houston Rockets at home, against the likes of James Harden and Dwight Howard. The Rockets are undefeated, will we give them their first loss, or will we get our first loss? Will Wade put on a show against Harden, showing that he can still be a top SG in this league? Will Bosh, who is averaging 26/11, continue his dominance?

Expecting a big game from Wade, considering his opponent is going to play little to no defence on him

This will be a very difficult one....Bosh & Wade will have to be on the top of their games.

I'm re-watching last night's game and am really impressed by the solid basketball being played by the Heat. Our passing and floor spacing is very good. Wade as primary distributor is working very well. Its easy to forget how good of a passer he is after being subdued in that dept for the past few years.

Deng has fit in perfectly with this team. We got what we were expecting-a borderline all star who is a very good role player. He doesn't blow you away with flashy play, but he has done everything fundamentally correct. A joy to watch.

Napier looks like he's been on this team for a few years now. He has shown to be an excellent passer and doesn't play outside of the game or force plays.

If we keep playing the way we have been, then this team can beat anyone, and is a better team than Houston.

Go Heat!

Miami is currently second in the league in assists, 4 in steals, and 2nd in rebounding differential.

Also, we are 4th in FG% and 1st in points per shot.

Im telling you. They are playing without "That stress". NO pressure to dominate or win. Its gone with lebron. The players look comfortable AF! I love it.

Wait til McBob gets his wind.

But here lies our big test. Lets not get killed on the glass and put a hand in all their shooters faces. We should be able to win.

I love the assists stat, and hopefully we can keep that up with the balanced, team oriented offense. That's both effective and fun to watch.

Steals should also stay a strength of our with guys like Rio, Napier, Deng, Mcbob.

But the rebounding will plummet real hard real soon, book it. I'll be happy if we could even be an average rebounding team. Especially if Hamilton and Birch never become rotation guys.

The rebounding should be looked at as an anomaly right now. We destroyed Toronto on the glass last night. That contributed a lot to the disparity.

Houston is a good rebounding team, and is currently 4th in rebounding differential. Seeing how effective we are rebounding versus them will be a good determinant of how good we actually are.
