Great read, and just speaks to the sacrafice wade had to make the past 3 years. The man got people thinking hes done because he took a back seat. The Heat owe him so much.

It sounds funny, strange and maybe unbelievable - but so do I. I think I like this team better without Lebron Despite it being less strong.

It's a bit wired because I Liked Lebron when he was here, On and off the court. But seeing the "others" (Mainly Bosh and Wade, which I always liked better off the court) get a larger role and playing better because of it, being appreciated more, having more fun, sacrificing less - it's just good to see.

Add the fact the team ball and ball movement is more enjoyable to me as a style (as apposed to superstar dominated style), And the room it allows for rookies and other supporting players just adds fun.

Also the fact there's much less hate around and less pressure - it all contributes to a more fun, less hyperbolic, more pure basketball experience.

Things might change if we start to suck and really struggle, and when the playoffs comes not being a real contender will hurt, but till then you can call me crazy - the 2014-2015 Heat are a joy to watch and my personal favorite team of the last 3 years.

after a SHAKY pre-season and start he is playing much better.but he sometimes struggles with his turnovers and i agree that the heat is a better team without lequit.since legone demanded the ball most of the times when he was here.so, to me its better to have a team that plays well that one man show!

While I enjoy the occasional superstar basketball, I thought it was too much about LeBron the past couple of years. His revenge, his legacy, his story, his stats and LeBron started to make it too much about himself too. I can easily see how that can lead to things not being as much fun, because at some point the individual became greater than the team and that's never a good development. And while LeBron received criticism when we struggled, it all came down to Wade being done, Bosh being soft and the rest just not good enough because LeBron still had his stats and nobody cared how these stats happened.

The thing that bothered me the most is how nobody ever realized how much LeBron developed as an individual player in Miami but how much our offense also helped him to be as great as he was. Everybody just pointed to the great workload he had, but seriously, look at the amount of easy baskets we were able to create for a guy that was the attention of every team's defense. That speaks volumes to how much our system helped him. Instead, everybody focused on why Wade and Bosh weren't doing better since "LeBron demands so much attention", but everybody failed to realize that it's much harder to produce when the ball isn't in your hands a lot.

It has been a fun season so far. We have the number two ranked (PER) shooting guard and center right now, while the dearly departed King has been replaced by the fifth ranked SF. If those type of contributions remain then we'll be all right.

Well in general it isn't a circus around here because LeBron is gone. It certainly takes a load off of the Heat, and they can concentrate on basketball.

I liked LeBron when he was here too. I like how he played, his dunks, his passing, and he became more clutch than ever when he was here. DWadeno3 noted how nobody recognizes that this guy really grew with the Heat. He went from shrinking in the Finals, to being Finals MVP twice in a row. His efficiency got better, more better than what it already was, and made him more tough minded. Now LeBron wants to take everything he has learned and replicate it into another franchise WITHOUT the main contributors to his change in Riley, Spo, Wade, and whoever else was in the background. I know the vets on this team really made this team stable, people like Battier and even Juwan.

The few things I DID not like, was the attention he brought and the negativity. He has poisoned the well because people still hate us and the reason we were hated, was because of him and the "not 1, not 2, not 3". But I won't get into that again... I'm sure our fanbase could write a book about that. Also he ball stops more than people recognize, pulling up for a 3 lol.

Anyway, its not a media circus, don't have articles every day out of thin air about some garbage that are distractions. I don't mind being under the radar. This is a new chapter of Heat basketball. In my years since a fan, went through 2004 with the emergence of Wade (that team was fun too), to getting Shaq, first title, then the down years, then obviously Wade being back tearing it up, to the Big 3 era, 4 straight finals appearances and 2 more rings, now its this.

What I didn't like is that people thought we would be back to the stoneage of irrelevancy or some **** after LeBron left. WADE was the main guy here and he still is, before and after LeBron. If LeBron stayed he might have been that guy but I'm glad he isn't, because he planned to leave anyway. That's probably what I'm most disappointed in, he was never committed to this franchise in the first place and LEFT Cleveland to WIN here.

Though with that said it will be a sad ass day when Wade retires. We need to be cultivating a new guy to the face of the franchise (a young guy), like how the Spurs have been cultivating Leonard, while the old heads are still there. We gotta do that while Bosh and Wade are here IMO. It's possible Napier is that guy, but we need more and someone more dominant. That's another story.

Also you can tell when people don't know what the **** they are talking about. People said how Miami ran him to the ground, while he played his least amount of minutes in his career during the regular season here. He wanted a SHOT at multiple titles and he got it but he had to go through 80+ more games, and so did everyone else. Pop is the only guy who would play his guys limited minutes, every other coach plays their main guys atleast 40 mins a night in the playoffs. That's normal man, especially for a freak athlete in his prime. How are the Heat being blamed for something like that?!

Usually I'd be the first to say organizations owe players as much as the players owe the organization (especially in our case). But Wade is one of the few that can make a case otherwise. He is the reason we have won three Championships in less than a decade.

Hate to even bring 'him' into this conversation, but he has something here that Lebron will never have in Cleveland. An unblemished memory as a Heat player, through and through.

Wade has a special spot reserved for him in this organization, alongside Zo. If Bosh finishes his career here (which seems 100% likely) and continues to lead this team as he is now, then he will join that group too.

Lebron spurned Cleveland, then left Miami when things got rough. He's ruined his chances at being immortalized for any team. If he had stayed in Miami then he'd have had a chance, though he would have still been fairly polarizing a player.

I think the post Big 3 era is showing that rosters need meticulous planning, adding the right pieces and not necessarily the most talented ones. Two players that can hit create there own shots, surround by supplementary talent with high bb iq, with a good coaching staff, can compete every season.

me too cabron demanded too much attention with the ball

I was a much bigger Heat fan in the from the late 90's (Zo Era) thru mid to late 2000's. The Shaq/Wade ship was a very special experience for me. I wasn't too hyped about the Big 3 as the rest in Miami as it just didn't feel right even though I thoroughly enjoyed watching the games and team accomplishments. Now, I am even more interested in Heat Basketball as I like the Pickups in McBob and Deng as I always admired both players as blue collar team players in which I do feel this team can still contend pending they all stay healthy. That, would be the greatest Heat accomplishment if that happens post Lebron and cement Wade as one of the best SG's ever.
