That's **** amazing.
I swear we had long ass discussions about this dude 3 years ago, he did nothing since, and now we get him. Crazy.
Really weird move. We're going to cut someone for him? Wonder what kind of contract that is.
For those who don't know him, he's got Denadre Jordan type length (actually his longer then Jordan if you can believe it), if he was 19YO he would an amazing project to develop. But he's 25YO.
3 games in Dleaguee this year,
crazy stats :
22 points in 28 minutes, 86% FG (LOL), 15.7 rebounds, 5.3 blocks.
Those are not total numbers, those are his averages for the 3 games.
Very hard to tell what to expect, but I like the gamble and good luck to him.

5.3 blocks???? Give me a real center that averages half that and I will be extremely happy. Whiteside was RAW in Memphis but I've always liked his game. What a coup for us.

This is a pretty big deal especially with Birdman getting hurt again. Maybe he can be our DeAndre Jordan. And people keep saying all Bosh needs is a real center next to him so hopefully this ends that.

No no no. He can't.
He's nowhere near as athletic, and I get the feeling he's got a very low BB IQ.
Maybe he can be our Bismack Biyombo, If we're lucky.

Haven't really seen him since his days with the Kings. Used to think he was a bit undersized (weight wise, not height, obviously). Watched his recent D-League highlights just now and...my goodness...he's gained weight. Not in the Glenn "PUT DOWN THE KRISPY KREME DOUGHNUTS!" Davis kind of way, but in the good way.
Not expecting much, but to be honest...all he has to do is just box out and get some rebounds and it'll be considered a success

Yep... Finally bulked up. He was rail thin a couple of years ago.

He wont even even get normal rotation minutes so I could care less.

Deandre Jordan doesn't have a high BB IQ either. And he looks athletic to me but alright. If he can at least get some rebounds and block some shots in the minutes he's in, that would be enough for me.

Well whatever, long as its a big man that this roster needs to nab some boards and blocks would be nice.
Hope he doesnt turn out like Dexter.

Thanks for those clips. He is definitely stronger now. I just hope he gets some playing time. I'm honestly not optimistic, but we shall see.

That's his biggest drawback. We don't have a choice really. We need somebody to be physically imposing, at the least.

Listen, he can't be very good if he's 25 YO in the Dleague.
We should hope our coaching staff takes his physical tools (Which are rare indeed) and turn him into a productive NBA player.
Might take some time, but there is some sort of potential there. It's worth a shot.

Always wanted him on the team. He has massive potential. Declared for the 2010 draft after his freshman year despite being very raw, a crucial mistake. He finally bulked up which probably means he's more focused about his career than he was before.

Would imagine its Dawkins or Hamilton???
