Slightly Above .500 Basketball

The Heat have just come back from a back to back, and won both games, improving their record to 8-6 and are the 4th seed in the East, for now.

The Heat have been having great games by Chris Bosh lately, who looked to have hit a wall after a 2-16 shooting night not too long ago, but have been carrying the team on efficient shooting, hitting a potential game winner, and rebounding decently.

He isn't alone though, with the help of Mario Chalmers, who has been on a tear since Wade has been out. Even getting double digit assists, as well as points. Heck, he is even playing like Wade, draws double teams, and is running an offense. Who is this?!

Deng has been on and off, but exploded for 26 points, 8 rebs against Charlotte on 10-14 shooting! Good stuff.

Shabazz Napier seems to be getting better every game offensively. He is hitting a good amount of 3's, has some nice dishes, and steals. Needs to work on his turn overs though, but he'll figure it out. The last 5 games, he has been averaging double digits, 12ppg, shooting 50% from 3 with 12 3's in the last 5 games, and is shooting 40% from 3 overall for the season.

Your Miami Heat now face one of the Best of the West in the Golden State Warriors. If the Heat do not compete, this will be a blow out, worse than against the Clippers. Rio will match up with Curry, will be fun to see how this plays out and how the Heat in general compete. Go Heat!

GAME NOTES

Miami
- Cole has a dislocated middle finger on his left hand. Questionable to play. I hope he stays out, so we can see Rio vs. Curry and more Shabazz.
- Birdman sprained his ankle. We are once again weak in the front court. He has been bad defensively however, despite still blocking shots. He has been slow footed these days.
- Wade out. Will be back next Sunday most likely.
- Rio and Bosh EN FUEGO and carrying this team.
- We suck

Golden State
- Bout to kick our ass
- 3's all day
- Will drop 160 points on us
- Klay and Steph will make it rain
- They are 10-2
- Lee out, Bogut questionable. - WE MIGHT HAVE A CHANCE!!

Would have liked it if the Splash Bros had gone bonkers today .. unfortunately they didnt .. so the chances are they rebound big time against us :(

Anyway, lets not suck!

At least Lee is out, he always kills us. Bogut might be out too, which gives us a slight chance of a win.

is that why I saw Speights get like 28 points lmao

yeah Lee KILLS us... smh

their 3 point shooting will still be an issue, and we love to leave 3 point shooters open

I'm looking for atleast a competitive game. But that'd be great if we did take a win lol.

If Wade misses that one as well, thus having him return on Sunday, he will have been out for 18 days. That's more than last season IIRC. Didn't they say the injury wasn't as bad as the last time around? And keep in mind, last year we were being more cautious than this year. So they're most likely lying and this whole thing is going down the drain with Wade.

At home we've got a chance against anyone. But Wade is needed.

Anyway need to hope they don't have a good shooting night. At least we won't get killed inside the paint this time.

Napier will hit more 3's then Curry, quote me.

For now: Improvement on D, effort & a continued acclimatization of the Rookies + MacBob will do.

Let's go Heat!

Splash brothers are aroused at all the open 3s they'll get.

Headless Chicken will be the end of us. We need to be more disciplined. Otherwise, just pray they miss.

God, I miss being a good defensive team.

We have a shot, but we can't be BSing around with uneven play. Move the ball and attack the lanes when; maybe draw some fouls.

Miami have beaten some impressive teams this season, but that was with Wade. W/o Wade Miami wont stand a chance against this team.

If Heat are smart, they should be force feeding Bosh on that left block every damn possession.

This is a matchup of two legit offensive power houses at the moment in the nba. both at the top for all advanced shooting team metrics, however gsw is a way better o-rebounding team. If lee AND bogut don't play, i would bet the house on miami. And bosh will most likely go ham ( not j-ham) on speights or draymond. williams vs draymond is intriguing, gotta box that dude out

Reading some of you guys one would think we're facing the GOAT team, a combination of Jordan's Bulls mixed with Russel's Celtics. And we're the Sixers with Noel out.

Get it together.

Yea GSW are better then us but they're hardly unbeatable. We beat the Mavs on the road for a reason. If we click we can beat anybody at home. Underdogs win games with heart and fight, it happens.
