I wouldn't be suspired if Spo buries Whiteside now that Bosh is back.
His treatment of young players makes me cringe, He couldn't be less helpful in building them if he tried.

Bosh back means zero play time for Whiteside.
Which should be the opposite, in fact I believe spo should start them together and bring Williams and Bird off the bench.
But what do we know, were merely peasant fans that shouldn't criticize spo's legendary and divine presence.

Based on how the vets were interacting with Whiteside the last 2 games, it seems they might believe he could potentially make an impact with his size.
Wade, Deng, and Granger where constantly offering him encouragement and advice during his time on the floor. Bosh was doing the same from the bench last game, with a couple of "big fellas" thrown in for good measure.
Hopefully they politic and convince Spo to keep giving him minutes.

I mean you have to be a total idiot to not see the positive impact Whiteside brings to the game on both ends.
Naturally, Spo does not see that. So there is that.
