NBA Trade and Buyout RUMORS: Prince Doesn’t Care About Buyout, Trade Talk
Tayshaun Prince turns 35 in nine days, and, befitting an NBA veteran of his age, the transactions are starting to come with more frequency.
But on the outside, anyway, the Celtics forward isn’t sweating reports that the team will buy him out if a deal isn’t found by today’s 3 p.m. trade deadline.

Carlos Boozer would be a nice backup to Bosh....

He can't come back.
Hopefully, Boozer gets bought out. A big rotation of Bird/Bosh/Whiteside/Boozer is very solid.

Could we cap this off by signing Larry Sanders? I realize that he has question marks off the court, but getting Dragic makes the Heat look a lot better to players looking to sign on to a good team. I'd be willing to give it a shot just to have that crazy depth at center.

I see what you did there.

judging from a distance seems like the Heat have a solid big rotation with Whiteside/Bosh/Bird/UD and McBob (if he can come back this year).
Seems like they need a guy who's 6-7 to 6-9 who can defend and hit 3's. Josh Howard, Stephen Jackson and Metta Ron Artest are available as free agents.
Miami should have an advantage over other teams with buyout guys with the McBob DPE.

I googled him just now to see what was up, and it does sound like he's dealing with some pretty serious issues. When he's on the floor, he's a defensive beast. His defensive rating is very nice. Too bad he's a tad mental.

Agreed, but I think his mental situation or rumored drug issues are hurting his game now. I cant find it but I think the Bucks were better defensively with him on the bench this season. Too bad, all the talent in the world, but looks like he will let it slip away.

I think I remember seeing that too. If he's having emotional issues, then I could see how the team would be better without him. I wonder how being on a contending team would influence him?

well as it stands this is our squad
pg: g.dragic/napier/johnson
sg: wade/chalmers/z.dragic
sf: deng/ennis
pf: bosh/haslem/mcroberts*
c: whiteside/andersen
with mcroberts being out we have 3 open spots. id like to see birch being called up and maybe a guy like jordan crawford or blatche

We have 2 open spots. Josh Mcroberts still counts as a roster spot despite injury.

Blatche looks like he's heading back to China again for a more lucrative deal,I don't blame him.
Birch and Beasley would be great to fill out the roster,or Boozer and Beasley.

We need a big for sure. Can't go to the playoffs with Haslem and Andersen as your only backups. Too bad McBob is hurt. I guess Blatche or Beasley would help up front. Maybe Boozer if true that he gets bought out. We also need a SF or swingman. Let's see who gets bought out.

Well, if we use the exception to sign a player, he can be on the roster in addition to McRoberts. If McBob comes back at some point, then Miami needs to go back to 15 players.

Any 2 of Boozer/Beasley/Crawford/Thomas Robinson would be amazing.
