Thanks for your professionalism Shawne.

You lost the weight and re-invented yourself this season.

Some really hot 3 pt shooting nights and some good hustle through some difficult times.

Hope you get some time with a contender as a 3pt specialist before your career winds down.

Started 22 of 44 games for us averaging 21 mins 6.6 and 3.2 with a 40% 3pt.

I thought williams was going to be our new james jones, that 3 point specialist who sits on the bench for years

But thanks for those games where you averaged 11/5, when you started next to Bosh

You were hitting it ridiculously from 3!

You weren't really a PF tho, but you really tried out there and your intentions were good.

His initial impact I thought was gonna be QRich-like, a player who came in trimmed, small deal, a vet that is a shooter. He was kinda like that and at one point was one of the best shooters in the league, but that was obviously unsustainable.

But seeing him defend the likes of Blake Griffin and get bullied **** hurt my eyes....cant fault the effort tho!

Good luck Shawne!

He did what he had to do. That jumper was silk when it was on. I didn't think that would be possible. Glad he gave what he did, but his apparent defensive issues surprised me (especially once Spo started to bench him). He'll find a place in this league.

i didn't mind him either. He put in work, got himself together and i thought he shot 3's pretty well when given the chance. His defense on the other hand could use alot of work. Wish him luck out there.

I really wanted him to be the next Q-Rich but at least Q-Rich was a tough perimeter defender. Shawne was terrible. But I guess I will miss him.

Weird isn't it? The stretch-4 that could help us is a player we can't sign. I know the defense is a minus, but still...

Steve Williams will not be missed. I say the same to any other Knick reject we think of signing!
