There would be no point in bringing him back. This team is just playing out the season. I doubt this team even makes the playoffs.

If he can play and contribute towards the end of the season then let him.

It really is unbelievable how extreme some of you react to each individual game

It's ~ a 5 team horse race for the 7th & 8th spots ... and we're playing like poop. I don't know what you want me to say. Of those teams, we have the worst record over the past 10 games. We've got 30 games left. When was the last time Wade played 30 games in a row?

Like we just didn't get a new player that's not familiar with the team. Also lost a player who was one of the best at his position so it will be an adjustment period

No point in bringing back a healthy player (presumed if this discussion is starting to occur) we have on contract that has a skillset that would mesh incredibly well with our new PG and would fill a void left by the sudden health scare of our star PF. Makes sense

We have some serious debbie downers in here

If McBob can suit up sometime in March, I'd be down for it. The sooner the team is able to build chemistry and gel together, the better off we'll be in the long-term.

I'm actually extremely excited about the prospect of McBob running the pick-and-pop with Dragic. McBob sets the screen then pops out, Dragic takes a first step to penetrate and

(a) hits the hole hard to either finish at the rim (70% finisher) or find a crashing Wade or Deng cutting, or lob it up to Whiteside as his man helps in the paint; OR

(b) dishes it out to McRoberts who either takes the open 3 or hits a bullet inlet pass to Whiteside downlow.

McRoberts facilitates beautifully from around the 3 point line, and I really think he's such a good runningmate for Dragic.

Don't bother, people think we have some sort of divine right to a playoff spot.

Get blown out by 20+ at home by a terrible team for the umpteenth time? Who cares? You're just overreacting.

I don't know if it makes some posters on here feel intelligent, mature, or above-it-all or whatever, but what I've learned from this site is that as fans, we should never react to a loss, no matter how critical it is. It's always cool to not care about this team's losses apparently.

Like we didn't just lose to a team who lost a better player than Bosh, as well as their 2nd best player after him. Like the roster we lost to yesterday isn't one of the worst in the NBA. Like we were even competitive at all, at any point, at home.

People are entitled to react how they want .

If McBob could come back, great! Why would someone not want to see him come back because we are out of the race for the playoffs. I want to see him play the high IQ type of ball that made me respect his game in the first place.

he's a good passer, a good shooter and he takes it to the rim. He plays hard and that would be a welcome change to the subprime effort levels we see during turd quarters.

It would just be more entertaining bball IMO and that's nothing but a net positive in my book.

Like that should be some sort of basis to not want McRoberts to come back?

We should not expect McRoberts back. Its more important to make sure a player fully heals and not screw the knee up long term trying to rush back. Then McRoberts never figured out how to play with the Heat. Its one of the reason why he got injured. He was getting frustrated with under performing, ripping his shirt and then diving at a ball in frustration and gets hurt.

Healthy is a relative term. You can be healthy enough to play, and at risk of re-aggravating the injury. We signed McBob 7 months ago, and he's been nothing but injured the whole time. I'd rather make sure that he's healthy for the offseason when he may be a trade asset.

You don't re-aggravate a meniscus tear thats been surgically repaired

And 2 months is about the normal timetable for someone to become fully recovered from meniscus surgery. I get giving him some more time to be 100%. But, there really isn't a reason he should be out the rest of the season.
