We're 9-3 (.750) when we play on Sundays ... and 16-30 (.348) on all other days of the week. I assume that means that we prefer early start times.
Our worst day is Wednesdays 2-10 (.167)
Also we flat out own the crappy Atlantic Division 11-1 (.917), and suck canal water vs the Southwest Division 1-8 (.111)
We actually have a winning record vs the Eastern Conference 18-17 (.514) ... and not so much vs the Western Conference 7-16 (.304) ... no surprise there.

Everyone already knows we suck at home for some reason that no one can explain 10-17 (.370). In fact if we could play all our games on the road, we'd have the 7th seed all but locked down.
Is there a point to this thread? Not really.

I really don't understand why we're so putrid at home this season. My theory is just that this season is toxic.

It's just a bad season all around, we lost the best player in the world for zero return and have faced multiple injuries.
In all of this we have managed to discover Whiteside and trade for Dragic, this should make Heat fans happy about this team again.

I am thrilled with Whiteside, but I'm waiting to see if Dragic even re-signs before I get too happy about that trade. It could blow up in our faces.

we are bad at home because we play harder teams at home
On the road it will look like a mirage when you face the Nets and Knicks on the road...
Also people still hate us. They want to come in our house and give it their best still and we don't react like we usually do.

I don't get the Sunday thing. And I don't get the Wednesday thing. I definitely don't get the home court thing.
I guess it all just sort of evens out to a portrait of a bad basketball team.

this is really interesting actually. link don't work though.
I wager on the NBA so this is good info to have. Who ever can explain this pattern is a smart puppy. Furthermore break downs would help but i can't be eff'd.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade
