I Want The Cavs Round 1....

Post#1 » by walk with me » Tue Mar 17, 2015 4:19 pm

For me if we can advance into the second round it would be a huge success but I woud also love a chance at the cavs.

- Our team will be it's freshest (wade specifically)
- Our team will have the experience edge
- If we lose to someone, I would want it to be the cavs knowing we got a chance to beat them.

Hopefully we can lock up that 2 seed and give the sell out a run for his money.

We dont have the talent to beat them in 7 games. Dragic and whitside with no PO experience and when you look at our bench..
Remember when we were getting whooped by the nets, bulls, celtics, pacers in the RL? Yhea..PO'S is another beat..that said cavs best 2 and 3 player have no playoff experience maybe that can work out for us..
With bosh and mcbob i would say that we could do it..but with the current roster? I really doubt. You you are in a bad spot if you want to win against a contender team in the pos when you first 2 players coming of the bench are mario chalmers and freaking bill walker. Hope im wrong..but i just cant see it..maybe im too negative..hope i ate crow :)

If we had a choice between Cavs and Hawks, sure why not.

Seriously, Cleveland isn't that scary. Irving and Love have no playoff history and Love is already known to have disappearing acts when the pressure is on in the regular season, imagine the playoffs.

Clevleland has no answer for Flash, Miami on the other hand has someone to slow down The King (Deng), if you noticed when Miami got blown out in Cleveland Flash didn't play. Irving has been scoring 50 in meaningless regular season games, the Heat's defense isn't going to let him drop that many points when the game slows down. Dragic was a huge pickup and he's a better actual PG than Irving is. Irving will have a few games where he tries to play hero.

Most likely scenario is Miami beats Cleveland then loses to the Bulls (likely will be 3rd seed by playoff time). Everyone is saying the Bulls are done or whatever but they'll pick it up when Rose/Butler returns and be in the ECF w/ the Hawks.

We have no reason, especially as a lower seed to be afraid to match up with anybody. I wish some of you scary ass fans would start acting like it, the first two pages of that game thread yesterday was embarrassing.

Agree that the Cavs are deeper, but I noticed some of you still don't know much about the Dragon. This guy played behind Nash...

I love the confidence, but I think everyone is feeling themselves a bit too much. Can Rio score like that consistently? Can wade? Does Lebron only go for 7 pts in the first half of every game? ambitious..

I think the cars would be the best for us as well. I'm not saying that we'll beat them but we do play them the hardest for some reason. I honestly don't think that we are shooting to make the playoffs though. The option to keep our pick is tempting and it puts us in a great position for the future. The playoffs hold no tangible rewards in my eyes. We aren't going to progress past the 2nd round, at best.

Are you freakin serious??? We could barely beat Philly, with Bosh and you think we could beat the Cavs?? PLEASE. we would get trounced EASILY by the Cavs. Some of you need to chill, we are barely an 8th seed.

Miami just doesn't have the bench or consistent 3-PT shooting to compete with the Cavs in the first round. Lets not deceive ourselves.

Let's not deceive ourselves. If you are good enough to beat a team 2 of 3 times in the regular season you sure as hell stand the chance to beat them 4 of 7. Right or wrong?

Not necessarily. The recent Nets are a good example as are the Mavs in '06. They swept is in the RS only to be crushed in the post season.

I remember when the Bucks would always beat us that one year, I bet they thought they could beat us too, only to be swept come post season time

We arent beating anyone in a top seed if we dont have 3 point shooting, consistency, health. We need Bosh for that ****

I would want to face Cavs next year tho, our squad will be better and I think we match up well.

But this year? Please stop being cocky. We were just talking about tanking, come on

Why not? If I had to choose between the Hawks and the Cavs I'd choose the Cavs.

This after one game, everyone thinks the Heat are world-beaters. Let's get at least a friggin 3 game win streak before talking about upsetting a 2nd seed team.

We are on the cusp of not even being in the post-season. We are 1 of 4 teams in a virtual tie for 7/8th seed.

Last night as epic as **** and I loved every minute, but some of you really need a reality check.

Hmm sounds like something bulls fans would say in 2010.
