What is the future for Whiteside?

If dont use our Heat classes for a moment, and all try to be realistic about Whiteside?
What kind of contact can we expect after next season?
Does anyone know if he are working with Zo and Howard in the offseason?
Can he be a franchise center ala DeAndre Jordan?
What will be realistic stats for him next year with Bosh back?

6 year veteran max contract. 18 million.
He will emerge as the best center in the east and a contender for best center overall. With spacing provided by Bosh, he won't get hammered inside by multiple defenders.

Don't know about stats. Double digit rebounds, over 2 blocks per game, and double digit points on very high efficiency.

Our season over but the WORK don't stop I'm blessed, and the future bright for US!! #nba #donthatetheheat #heatnation #hungry #miami
Right now I think our guys are on vacation the work they're putting in is individual stuff that they want to do during their free time. Hassan will be on a program with Spo and Juwan Howard once their R&R is over.
Post Allstar break Hassan averaged 13.4pts 11rebs and 3blks in only 28.4 minutes.
He's played 13 games over 30 minutes and in those games he's averaged 16.7pts 15rebs and 3.5blks
Those aren't bull extrapolations. Thats literally what he has done when allowed to play over 30 minutes. Imagine this man with a full offseason of work… enough time to get in good enough shape to play 30+ minutes all season.
I'm predicting 15pts 13.5rebs and 3blks.

Not only Am I expecting Hassan to improve his on court production and dependability, but all around leadership and maturity. We're going to need it.

Here's an example of him beasting in the 1st half but dropping off in the 2nd. A lot of that has to do with conditioning, he'll stop blocking shots and rebounding. His P&R coverage also tends to get lazy when he's tired.

He had 13pts 10rebs and 5blks in the 1st half but he only had 11pts 3rebs and 0 blks in the 2nd. That will definitely improve going into next season.

We always hear bout Hakeem and sometimes Ewing works out with other teams big men. Why are we not hearing about Whiteside and Zo?
We have our own HOF center to help Whiteside?
Can Heat hold on to Mr Whiteside?

Off-season just started a month ago, loads of time to start hearing news about Zo/Howard working out with Whiteside.
And yes, Heat will hold on to Mr.Whiteside.

Cause Zo has had to deal with his Kidney disease and as a result stays away from physical stress now that he's retired… Give him a break thats not his job.
As far as cap space, that question has been asked many times. The short answer is yes, if they want to the Heat will have the space available to offer Whiteside up to the max.

I wanna get to the point where Riley says that Whiteside are untouchble, and he gonna be the cornerstone of the Heat.
I think that he got the tools, but I'm afraid about his bb IQ and his mental toughness. I hope that Zo, Howard and the coaching staff can help him to overcome these things.

Zo is absolutely going to spend time working with Whiteside this offseason. Has not yet but for sure is part of the plan over the summer.

The future is BRIGHTside.
We'll keep him at Max contract or near Max, only question is if he's going to be very good or very very good or very very very good.

Big men take time to develop, and Hassan still has some maturing to do. I don't expect him to take a huge step forward next year, I just want him to be able to play more minutes while keeping his effectiveness similar to last years standarts and make small steps with his weakness (Small improvements with his passing and his FT). Once he does that, he'll work on expanding his offensive game and that stuff. That can wait one more year, slow and steady progress, nothing crazy.
