Season is over. Lost 2 out of last 8. Surely would trade ability to build a real contender in July for one win in November.

We beat bad teams at home. You saying rio wasn't helping this team and udrih is a better for us than rio?

There's a saying in Turkish: Bald man dies, they say he had golden hair. Blind man dies, they say he had almond eyes. Good for Rio but I don't miss him at all. It was the exact same story with Norris Cole last year.

I'm saying Rio or no Rio we are not winning a damn thing this year. We aren't good enough. If by some stroke of luck we make it to the Finals, GSW would destroy us so badly in game 1 that they'll call the series.

So I'm not going to lose sleep over Rio knowing getting rid of him helps this team in the long run. As for Udrih, who cares? He might be gone too by the deadline too. Neither of these guys are game changers. Rio was let go because a guy we found in D-League is better than him and a lot cheaper.

Good point.

It's not that Rio is that good, Memphis just needed a player like him. Somebody who can score and create off the dribble and shoot the long ball. It's common knowledge that Memphis with a perimeter star player could be a contender.

Whether Rio would've been a difference between a championship or not is a really bad argument/ especially in the grand scheme of things where he actually might or might not be. You can't prove that. He's not steph curry, but you need role players to win championships

Rio had 3 good games with Memphis, then he went back to being himself. Last 4 games :

2-9
2-10
4-7
2-7 last night.

Stop **** bitching over nonsense, same **** happened with Cole. Nobody misses him and he's not the answer to any relevant question we face. /

I've no reason to miss Chalmers. None. I've had too much heartache over his play to be remorseful. However, I hope he does very well in Memphis. I hope he plays so well that posters continue to regret us trading him away. He played as many games for us as our best players. He's a Heatle for life.

Today when he hit the 3 that tied the game with the 76ers (which of course they proceeded to lose) I thought of that thread that RexBoyWonder had in T&T (the one where I had a warning issued when a Pacer fan called all our assets worthless - and Mario negative value). It was very satisfying since the admin that docked me is a 76ers fan.

I feel you man. Forget all the haters. Mario was an enigma here. No doubt. I don't hate him though. I wish him the best.

As far as other boards go, tread carefully. We need to keep you active.

Memphis just needs shooters badly it's no surprise that acquiring a shooter opened up there offence. Let's see if Rio can keep it up all year.
