Miami Heat @ OKC Thunder - 1/17 @ 7:00pm EST

Since I'm the boards biggest Clippers Nuggets Thunder -(I wouldn't even say fan more like casual observer)... At least when they aren't playing the Heat, I decided to make this game thread. The Clippers are on a 9 game win streak and they're doing it without Blake Griffin I have no idea how they are doing.

We can win if we move the ball like we did Whiteside vs the Warriors last team we beat.

Let's go Heat!!

The last couple of games, OKC has been killing teams in the first quarter. Don't let go of the rope during that quarter...

I don't see how we can lose with that kind of game thread.

Easy win.

Well, with the way the Heat have been this season...maybe it's better that they loosely grasp the rope in the first half, then hold on for dear life in the second.

Joakim Noah is out for 4-6 months. The East is looking very weak right now... as much doom and gloom as there has been we're literally half a game out of the 3rd seed and we play the Bulls soon. Sucks that we have a ton of injuries though. If we can get healthy and make a push post all star break we can still do something.

The goal this season at least for me was to make the ECF and give LBJ a run for his money and lucky for us we still have a chance to do that.

LeBron has been to 5 straight finals and this season would be his 6th straight deep playoff run. He may never be more vulnerable as a player. With some luck we can still get there.

With that said this game is most likely an L. I just wanted to get this post out while I'm still riding my Hassan triple double high. lol

Let's go Heat!!

Not only is your avi a weird 80's version of mine but your GT is a crappy copy of mine as well. :noway:

Though you won with your GT so hey keep on keeping on.

After this game we only have one day off, have to travel back home and then back on the road again to play another back-to-back. This will be a revenge game for OKC too after we won by just 2pts @home - now we face them on the last game of this 6 game road trip on their turf where they are 19-5.

Moreover we play Milwaukee on the first game of our back-to-back, 2 days after this game, who swept us last season - the last game being a heart breaker at the buzzer.

W/ our circumstance w/ the injuries to Wade & Dragic and our situation w/ this being the last game of our trip & things stated above i think we conserve our energy and look ahead to the Bucks game. I think our boys can't wait to get back for some home cooked meals, even if it's for a day. & we may even have Wade back for the Bucks game (though he is questionable for this game so small probability he plays).

Expect a loss here.
