Reading stuff on Kings boards that Gay about to get traded, possibly Clippers or Bulls?? Said Dwight Howard is on his way out too. Take it with a grain of salt, but, I think things wont get done for Heat until final hours of deadline like last year. We need teams to holdout for better deals, and then realize they don't have much time and make a deal they wouldnt have made in the beginning. Don't even know honestly who a target would be??

We need to move Deng for shooters and we need another play making PG.

Id also move Birdman for relief and hopefully a shooter. We have way to many bigs when we already have 2 more then most teams.

Birdman + 2nd (2017 (31-40) + 2018 if ATL gets 2017) + cash for Dudley (expiring)

Get it done, Pat!

We need to wait as late as possible so that teams would be willing to take on Birdman's contract. The money we can contribute pays for most of his salary.

Watching Deng play makes my blood boil. I can't name a single thing he does well. Playing for Thibs must have added 10 seasons to his legs.

Please get rid of this guy Riley/Arison.

Not enough space for another PG unless we play Tj at the 2 and bench or trade Gerald. I wouldn't mind that and have him as a third string wing cause he's def' serviceable... just not likely that we get another big, shooter, and a playmaker with our assets... that doesn't look like Cole,Granger, and Justin Hamilton.

Deng+McRoberts+Birdman (+our only second -- 2017(31-40) or 2018 (if 2017 goes to Atlanta) + cash) for Joe Johnson

Opens up to roster spaces for potential buyouts plus d-league promotion.

Brooklyn's fan doesn't hate it. It saves them $4M and Mickey has to foot the bill, so what do we care? Thoughts?

do you want an essay depth of what is wrong with this team? you and i are seen it. problem is systematic and motivational as well.because the team looks lethargic and uncaring to play plus they seem to have issues moving the ball and finding the right spacing and comfort to shoot

I see us losing the next few games. Our team looks defeated. If we are at 0.500 at the end of the road trip, I'll be very surprised. Riley needs to make a move. It's not just the team that's underwhelming.

It is a sorry situation to see the Heat regress again after a promising start. This crappy 3rd quarter scenario is as consistent as ever now. Wade is on the mend after being over-utilized. The team looks in disarray, tired and unmotivated. Whiteside is getting good stats but so what?

Whiteside can't keep us in the game by himself. He did everything he could. Imagine if we had Andersen & Stoudemire playing there instead.

I'm taking a break for a while again, and their lack of effort is crippling my motivation to get my projects done. I've a 60000 word novel to revise. Time to get started:

Whiteside played well but it didn't matter, the team's issues are deeper.

Let's look at the positives here:
We have a perennial stud at C with Whiteside. He can anchor a defense.
We have an all-pro with Bosh at the 4.
We have very good players at PG and SG with Wade and Dragic
We have a solid vet in Deng and good prospects in Winslow and Tyler.
We have a streaky shooter in Green that can make a difference.
We have a solid PG in Beno Udrich that can manage a game and hit jumpers.

We have a ton of assets.
This team should not be losing like this.
It must be the system and/or coaching.
