Good move. Let him recuperate and try to be a go for the playoffs. If not, will keep his value down a bit and allow us to sign him over the cap cheaper since we have his Arenas rights. And no, not the rights to tell girls to wash their asses with lead filled water or to steal money from amex and brag about it on social media. Moron.

I thought he should have done this when it first got floated as a possibility. Just didn't seem like the type of thing you want to try to manage for 4-5 months. I appreciate him pushing through when we were thin in the backcourt and hope he can bring it back toward the tail end of the season. Good to get that thing cleared up before it gets ugly.

Yea, might as well get it done now.

TJ is a tough SOB but better do it now before it gets worst, hopefully he comes back to form for the playoffs. He's young, he'll bounce back quick.

This decision also tells me we're very likely to trade for a shooter.

Ryan Anderson is my dream scenario tbh, we need some shooting even if that means some drop off in defense

Yeah I was getting worried, I seen the difference in his play. And he was still trying to jump out the gym with that shoulder. I'm glad someone talked him out of being reckless. Really feel bad for him, he was really on pace to be rewarded for all his hardwork. It's very dangerous jumping in traffic while being so small like he does. I know I played the same way. I have split my head open in practice after someone ran up under me while try to go for a put back dunk and landed head first into our centers knee, got a huge scar. Another time I sprain both my wrist at the same time bracing a fall after again someone taking my legs from under while blocking a shot. I had a a cast on both my wrist lol. The last game he played he attacked the basket and had a nasty fall. I was wondering was he able to brace himself with that shoulder, and if he did was he going to cause more damage. I don't think we will see him again this year.

Get well. And on a selfish side hopefully this lowers his value a lot. Maybe we can resign him on the low, real low...

We have his early bird rights and with Gilbert Arenas provision we can match offers. Plus he has a small cap hold and when we pay him it's not from cap space, so it behooves us to pay him better than others. I expect it to be $5.6M, $6M, $6.471M, $6.96M, which is as high as anyone else can pay (but with 7.5% raises - our advantage - instead of 4.5%).
