I watched the Trailblazers vs Celtics game. The Blazers are a good team. We'll have to work very hard to beat them.

Image

Spoiler:
Image

Nothing for us comes this easy.

Image

Heat Probable Starters:

Goran Dragic
Gerald Green
Joe Johnson
Luol Deng
Amar'e Stoudemire

Trailblazers:

Damian Lillard
CJ McCollum
Al Farouq Aminu
Maurice Harkless
Mason Plumlee

We'll also see a lot of Ed Davis, Gerald Henderson (really good the last few games), Allen Crabbe, and Noah Vonleh. Brian Roberts (who was with the Heat for one afternoon this season) is Lillard's backup. Meyers Leonard is out for the rest of the season.

To win this game we must explode in the backcourt and buckle down on defense. We must avoid stupid turnovers too.

Here are the current standings and status report. You guys know the routine now. A loss tonight against the Blazers will move us to 6th place. A win for us or a loss by the Bulls will guarantee our qualification for the playoffs:

We lose to Lakers, we give up a 24pt lead a game after and end up winning by 6pts to a Cousins-less Kings team. And now we play a b-2-b game, on the road vs a tough Blazers squad. What are we to expect here!?

Correct me if i'm wrong though but are we 9W-5L on 2nd games of b-2-b?

This game has a trap feel to it! But trap for Portland. We may end up taking this one.

I'm going into this one thinking it will be a loss, but with that said, I wouldn't put it past Spoelstra to have been pretending to be incompetent to trick the Trailblazers into a trap. If we want any chance it will require another such performance from Gerald:

Spoelstra says he's been the first one in the gym and the last to leave. Look at the guys cheering for him on the bench... It even looks like he cured Dwyane's neck :o :o

Portland is a good team but they're in a similar situation to us right now, not exactly hot and waiting for the playoffs to get here. We can win this!

i think we can win. we play better against good teams for some reason. Although, i hope we can get Mcbob some minutes for ballhandling if this team shows signs of locking up on the offensive side like they did yesterday.

Going to be paying attention to the Dragic/Lillard matchup. That will likely determine who wins tonight.

Good heavens, that just makes me want to watch the game even less. But as usual, I'll suffer through it. Hopefully Goran's aggressive and when the game slows down he remains that way. Also gonna need Hassan to get more involved offensively.....and this isn't directed at Hassan it's directed at Goran and JJ. Speaking of JJ, look for your shot more! (while making sure Hassan is involved of course)

we also gotta address our turnover issue. its gonna be a problem in the post -season. teams are starting to see that as a weakness and are playing aggressive d on us to force more than we normally put up.

Sacremento has one of the worse defenses in the league yet still managed to get us to commit 18 turnovers. i think we had 17 when we played LOL too

Going from almost losing to the worst defensive team to play a top 10 offensive one the next day is going to be fun

I'm ready
